And as I suspected, the reason why they weren't taking Ascendance off GCD was because they were planning to glue some instant damage to it. Makes sense because having one variation of a spell be on GCD and one not being on GCD would be a bit messy and thus their only options are either remove the instant heal component from resto (which is a bad idea, the spell is a lot more useful with it) or add an instant damage component to ele/enh.
So, disc being the best healer gets buffed while Druids and Monks get nerfed.Rogue being the best DPS goes by untouched while other classes get nerfed. Can Blizzard just fire their class balance team? This is straight up dumb.
Sorry if this question is kinda stupid, but can anyone explain the technical function of a "class scaling aura"? I don´t actually get it. It seems to me, that dh abilities like blade dance and so on did 11% more damage because they were used by a dh? Does it have any impact on the scaling regarding the further progression in the expansion? Or are the skills now more (or less?) affected by talents, gear and other stuff than before? But in overall, since the base damage was nerfed and not all abilities were re-scaled, it is a huge nerf overall, isn´t it? Like Demon Blades (Talent), Glaive Tempest (Talent), Felblade (Talent) and our skills during Metamorphosis (Annihilation, Death Sweep), or are at least Meta skills and Demon Blades affected by their origin?
Still no damage buffs to Blood or Guardian. Both specs are having issues holding aggro on the beta because they do no damage.Meanwhile Prot Paladins are topping damage meters.Very balanced...
RIP Holy Priest dps
the aweful truth by https://twitter.com/maximumwow?lang=deMistweavers thinking they were gonna see raid time LMAOThe point is, it isnt quality to bring nerfs before bugfixing all the thinks and communicate MW will get into better place one week later. MW got nothing special and the synergie MW had are removed. Nothing about tuning, but in the right way and at correct time, but not like this. Whoever is working (and their superiors) on the monk still doing a damn bad job.
Monk healer+tank should be my main... Well... I wanted absorb tank and melee-auto-heal-ignore-healbot healer. Will level hunter for mechagnome armor o) It is still 1.6 month till launch, but I want to be a melee-jab-kick-everyone-is-autohealed healer, who is needed in raids and good in Torghast. M+ is on a third place for me.
I honestly don't care if mistweaver is the worst healer, I just want it to be fun again...After maining it for all of legion and having a blast doing it, my heart sank when bfa ruined everything I liked about it.I was hoping to see some meaningful changes, or even a full rework, but blizzard keeps dashing any hopes I have for change.
@Garzek - That's not what lowering the floor means. A skill floor refers to how well a spec plays even if played by a monkey banging keys. A high floor means it's impossible to play poorly, which is what you're trying to say. A low floor means that if you're bad, you will have disastrous results.
Nerf Vengeance (lol), more buffs for Demon Hunter Venthyr Convenant (lol). They don't even do anything with Maldraxxus Convenant ability (lol). Vengeance still missed one Potency Conduit. No idea why some Covenant Soulbind dont have 3 Endurance to choice. I have bad feelings about this.
Idk if blizz devs are even looking at comments here, but this is just ridiculous. Idk what Blizzard is thinking - they made only 1 covenant as a viable option for MW. There was a bit of hope for Kyrians with recent changes to monks celestials but these nerfs? They are uncalled for. They are making our extra CD completly useless in raiding scenarios and ALREADY all other healers are beating us on healing cds. Night fae is useless in every scenario - cause the last thing MW needed was NATURE DMG when our whole kit is based around PHYSICAL dmg. And they work on making all options viable for us? The only thing they had done for last months is not taking care of a ton of bugs and destroying this spec in SL completely. Atm Blizzard is forcing all MW to go Necrolords and only because this ability doesn't work like it should. I can't see my monk in this ugly transmog with this ugly mounts but if I want to stay in my raiding team I will need to be necrolord. Cause all other covenants are just laughable. And conduits? Whoever was designing them for MW should get FIRED. How there are no conduits that would interact with the core of our tool kit? Why practically all of the "healing" ones are there to interact with big cds? Everything about MW screams "we have no idea what to do with this spec". You were on good tracks with chi-ji and yu-lon changes but now you had nerfed them to the ground. And the biggest problem here are not numbers, not tunning but whole design. You made fealine stomp had no interaction with fistweaving, but it's clearly made only for that, you haven't fixed Revival or our lackluster mastery - instead you put something for Revival "in conduits". Making our cd somewhat viable only cause we have this conduit in is just a flawed design. First, make it viable on itself, fix it, then add some flavor in the new system.
