Loading outdated AddOns is great, but you also need to check if updates have been released. Assuming you use Twitch/Curse then open
the app and Refresh your installed list. For Wowinterface, they use their own
Minion updater. Yes you can use both, but try to update AddOns hosted on both sites using one client or the other; don't update the same AddOn in both clients. Nothing bad will happen, but you will be prompted to cycle back and forth between the two clients for no reason.
Next, because you mentioned not being able to open your AddOns list, I can tell you that some AddOns still haven't been updated, like AddOn Control Panel. This will be tricky, but not terribly so, but you have to do some research.
Find your bag AddOn on Twitch/Curse (I've had better results from fixes via here than Wowinterface comments) and ACP on Twitch/Curse. Do these steps in order:
- Scroll down the main page to the user comments and see if anyone has mentioned a fix. This will require you to edit the .lua files in any text editor.
- If you cannot find a fix in the user comments scroll back to the top of the page and in the main description click the Project Page link.
- That will take you to either Curseforge or Wowace, as these are the developer sites for Curse.
- Along the toolbar of the AddOn, you should see an Issues link. Go ahead and click that.
- Now you are looking at all the bugs and suggestions for that AddOn.
- Find the Issue that describes your problem. I'll give you some hints: look for either 7.3 or PlaySound errors.
- Click and read those issues, scrolling down to see if there are user fixes posted.
I can tell you that I have found fixes for AdiBags (which is now officially patched), Archy, and ACP among others using this method.
