Hey guys
So I'm relatively new, although I'm sitting at level 49 at the moment. Wanted to ask if it's necessary/ if there are benefits to go back to the unexplored map locations while questing.
While on the flight path I see I've missed a few places which have the quest markers as well as flight masters I've missed in unexplored zones in different parts of the map. I know you can find different creatures/ pets in different areas but is it worthwhile going back and exploring all the zones? (I know there are SO many).
Also- if I create another class on my account- do they explore different routes? Do the maps sync?
Sorry if it's a silly question- love the questing, just want to make sure I'm not missing anything :)
Thanks in advance 💪🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻

Well, can't really say much about your main question, it more or less depends on whether you want to visit these locations or not. There's hardly anything you really "need", but you may find interesting scenery, or engaging quests, useful items etc.
Second question is easy though: If you create a different character, it will have to reveal the map again, there is no shared exploration.

Thanks Nulgar 🙏🏻
I just didn't want to "miss" anything, but going back and exploring these places seems like it could take so much time on its own.
Just wasn't sure if it was really worth going back, such as if the quests/ items/ pets would be that worth the trouble?
Thanks again

Nulgar failed to mention that you also get achievements for exploring the entire map in each zone, and then again for each continent, and then again for each planet iirc. It gets addictive after a while. :)

Thanks Jarycu!
I decided I will go explore everything once I get a flying mount 😜 I'm ALMOST at level 60 so that will just speed everything up! But glad you said that, thought I was the only one who got addicted to those sorts of things 😃
