I used Auctioneer for a while for when I wanted slightly-automated transactions, but then I had to switch to
Trade Skill Master (TSM)
when I got serious about playing the AH. It's very complicated to use, but luckily there are several YouTube videos that walk you through the setup. Be prepared to be frustrated for 2-4 days trying to get it right, but then it'll just start working and you'll love it forever after.

Tradeskill master is a lot easier to use than people think. Before you use the ah, reload the ui so it updates the data that you added in new. Just go to shopping and search for your item and it will show you the % of sale to sell for or to buy.

In order for that feature to work, you need the TradeskillMaster
program
, which is free. You will then need to tell it which realms you play on so it can pull data from Blizzard.
