I personally haven't..
I have. Best expansion since MoP. Very few complaints. Content is abundant, and arrives in large batches that are frequent. No droughts with nothing to do. Story is amazing for the most part, and each class having their own story adds replayability and added incentives to level alts.
the dungeons are really uninspiring.
Look at Halls of Valor and say that again. That has to be one of the most gorgeous dungeons I've ever seen, not just in wow, but in videogames in general. Almost all the dungeons have been amazing save for the mandatory recycled dungeon (This time around being Violet Hold). 5man Karazhan is quite a treat and one of the most epic 5man experiences ever added to the game.

Felt kinda meh towards Emerald Nightmare, but that's it. Nighthold was as gorgeous as it was amazing and it was a culmination to one hell of an epic story that is easily among the biggest magnus opus in blizzard storytelling in the entire history of the game. And while I've only done 4 bosses of ToS so far, what I've seen in there has pleased me.

Legion actually drove me away from Warcraft, but not for the reasons OP stated. I'm not a lore guy, and I really don't like the changes to the specs and spells from WoD to Legion. I don't like the class halls, but I didn't care for the garrisons either. One promoted a single player style, and the other is just too jumbled. Maybe whatever the next xpac brings will find the happy medium between the two styles.

Legion was fun for the first month...but once you complete the quest lines, it get's tedious since it's mainly just the World Quest grind, and that get's boring really fast. Even the new patches are still boring; you can do one new quest a week, then grind again, do a new quest, grind and so on. I want to get flying for the Broken Isles but the grind has turned me off it.
I am currently playing FFXIV and Stormblood just came out, so when I finish off the current patch's main story quest lines, I may go back to WoW and force myself to finish the grinds to get caught up.

Yes, i personally feel the same way about legion. It was interesting for the first month or so, but then it got boring really fast. It just feels like a boring grind right now. I can't wait for the next expansion to come out.

i thought that was the worst dungeon I think. The valhalla/viking theme is just so far fetched from the original dungeons. It also looks oversaturated (might be my graphical settings). I just personally couldn't stand playing through that dungeon because of all the overly bright colors and blinding visuals. It was too much, but I still did it because of the loot and xp, but not because I was enjoying it.

I enjoyed them a bit more personally because they were darker and had a better atmosphere, but I still believe that dungeons and questing areas should have a neutral theme, similar to some of the original dungeons like deadmines and wailing caverns or what not.

We are talking about a world full of technological midgets, hairy humans who use steam punk technology, native cows, Victorian werewolves, rocker undead, druggy elves and the Pandas...and all of those have existed since the time of the RTS games.
And the Deadmines had a gigantic pirate ship with a huge steel door as part of the dungeon...how is that natural?
Halls of Valor was just the next step for showing us a Vykrul land that wasn't ravaged.

I also hated the asian/chinese theme of pandaria. It's nothing racist (I am scandinavian so I know all about my viking ancestry, I just don't really feel like it fits into world of warcraft).
Mists was my favorite xpac of the entire game. The Pandarens have actually been a part of
WoW mythology since Warcraft 3
believe it or not, so it was only natural that we spent some time in their homeland.

It does seem that way... It doesn't seem too bright to me. I am loving Legion, it's a huge step up from WoD.

Meh, I don't like the scaling of the levels of baddies and zones, I don't like that I can't fly. I don't really enjoy the zones, or the questing in general. I don't like the concept of the weapons now. There really isn't a lot that I like about it.. other than the items I farm go fairly high on the AH. It's a move in the right direction game / story wise, just personally I don't enjoy it all that much.

I don't like that I can't fly.Do the achievement and you can fly...just like how in the previous expansions flight was locked behind something.

I came back after the better part of a year. My complaints so far are the CRZ I've been experiencing, and the gating around Suramar. The last piece to get flying that is taking much longer than expected.
I've been playing casually, and have all the parts done for part 1 and 2 of pathfinder, except the Suramar quests. Grinding the daily WQ for a bit of rep, to hopefully get that last bit of revered completed is a real drag IMO. Needing to be exalted with that one rep, to get the final bit of questing, was a design flaw.
As for the CRZ, I am seeing tons of horde characters vs alliance (playing alliance). I've never had this issue in any expansion before, and it has created problems with spawn competition many times, resulting in WQs taking much longer to complete. The realm I play on, as well as it's connected realm, are heavily alliance populated. I've had it happen many times, where I am charging a group of 3, and someone swoops in and tags them from a flying mount or something similar and leaves me the battle to complete for no loot or credit.
Otherwise, it's not been a bad expansion so far. But then again, I've only been back around a month, so I'll see how that feels with time. I've not touched professions, as my alts are sitting around waiting on flying unlocked.
