English is not my first language so bear with me: I used to laugh at people who claimed they where addicted to World of warcraft. But now i don´t. For various reasons (mostly lack of time because of bodybuilding hobby that takes lots of time and work, and i also have a job that requires odd hours) i quit playing last fall. By then i had played some in the new expansion (loved it) and prior to that i had like 4 months break from WoD. I started playing first time in TBC.
I still miss it, i still want to play it (I could play it, but im unable to play it as much as i want too, and by just playing wow "a bit" would only get me frustrated.) .
I use my "game time" for other games, games that im able to pause, games that "doesn´t care" if i play today or tomorrow. Single player games on Xbox 1, instead of computer, like Fallout 4 (love it), and Skyrim remastered.
With all that time away from WoW, i think i should have "kicked the habit by now", but i haven´t., i still think about it, still miss it, i still even dream about it.
How much more time should it take to "completely kick the habit"?

I now the feelings waaay to well too.
But as you may have figured out. You never stop playing WoW, you just take breaks.
WoW is like a drug, so good luck trying to stop playing, cuz i have tried the same ting since 3 expansions ago...
WoW is Love, WoW is Life

Thanks Makrazi. Yeah its kinda wierd actually, when i was hooked on Benzodiazepines it took like 3 months to get rid of the cravings, i wouldnt touch them again, then i would relapse, but i didnt crave them at all after that. But WoW...9 months and still cravings.
WoW is way too good of a game.

The way I see it you can play WoW and achieve just as much as you can in Skyrim or Fallout, you just need to manage your time a little better if you absolutely must be cutting edge, but if not I really don't see much difference between doing quests in Skyrim or doing them in WoW.
