This has happened nearly 10 times now, always on wowhead, in the last couple days.
I'll be doing anything, then go into my wowhead tab and click on something, and my browser just stalls.
I'm not seeing any other complaints about this issue, so I imagine it's on my side?

Is this before or after you've logged in? I'd like to know if ads are involved or not.

I'm logged in, and my ads are disabled because I'm a premium user.

That's definitely unusual then. What browser, OS and browser extensions/addons are you using?
Also, have you tried disabling your browser addons/extensions to see if the behavior persists? Does it happen in other browsers?(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##

I have a similar problem, wowhead in general is just really slow for me. Although I have ads. I always figured it has to do with cookies and cache, it says the page has somewhere between 600-800 cookies, the exact number keeps changing, which is a lot more then any other page (around 20-40). I have tried clearing the cookies but they tend to rebuild quite fast.

Chrome, Windows 10, and I just disabled a few of my extensions.
I've only been using Chrome.

That is related to how the ads function and isn't the same as this particular issue. While it's not ideal it's something we're continuing to try and mitigate all the time with varying levels of success. It's better than it was, but not as good as we'd like. Please review the Ad FAQ, Site Performance and 'Bad Ad' stickies at the top of this forum. Thank you!Chrome, Windows 10, and I just disabled a few of my extensions.

Let me know if disabling your various extensions made any difference. It's quite difficult to troubleshoot this kind of thing when there are a lot of third party variables interfering. You may want to try disabling all of them to test if the behavior persists.

I'm having issues too. Seems that wowhead is constantly loading and really SLOWS down everything else. So I can't leave it open for long or my system turns to tar. So I pop in...read a little. Get out. I'm on W10 and Chrome.

After disabling some extensions, I haven't had the issue in days.
So either disabling an extension fixed it, or it was some unknown, now fixed, issue.
The extensions I disabled
