Well I have been looking over the trees for a while now, and while things are still subject to change, the leaked trees give us a general idea of where they're going with the new talents.
Most classes' new talent trees offer a lot of goodies in the lower half. Tough choices have to be made. For a Destro Lock in PvP, survivability is key, followed by burst damage. I've come up with a fire-heavy build that I think maximizes both:
5/14/52
For me, instant Corruption is a must-have. If you don't feel the same way this build isn't for you, because while the build focuses on fire-based combos, there is some synergy with shadow and DoT spells, most notably the new Molten Core talent.
The new Torture talent, however, is not worth the points in my view, since Searing Pain and Immolate are not spells I've ever wished could be instant-cast.
Since Demonic Embrace is a must-have PvP talent, the value of Kindling Soul is greatly diminished. The latter strikes me as a PvE talent; even though Spirit seems to be making a "comeback" in WotLK, a Warlock with Demonic Embrace is one character who will probably end up continuing to ignore Spirit.
Nether Protection is just not worth 3 points, but Soul Leech might be. If there's one tossup here it's between Demonic Aegis and Soul Leech. For PvP, Soul Leech is probably better, since Fel Armor will frequently be dispelled. Still, the straight up boost to spell power that comes with Demonic Aegis is very nice, and I think it will make a difference much more often than the small, unpredictable heals from Soul Leech. Besides, Soul Link is giving us the extra edge in survivability that we've always needed, so I think it's safe to leave Soul Leech to the side and focus more on supercharging our offense.
One other potential tossup is between 2/3 Molten Core and 2/2 Aftermath. Yes Aftermath continues to be of very limited benefit, but for just 2 points it might save you from a Rogue once in a while. Still, even at 7% I like the potential of Molten Core for some occasional eye-popping burst damage. There's also synergy here with the new Backdraft talent. I'm envisioning Immo->Conflag->Immo combos, all crits, all with 10% extra damage. This could be commonplace with the new Destro talents.
The one wildcard in all of this is the new Shadowflame spell. I'm at a bit of a loss as to how this spell will fit into rotations, or if it will even have a place in PvP. I assume, however, that it won't render Incinerate and Shadowbolt obsolete, and worked on the assumption that spell rotations will end up being similar to what they are now (i.e. Immo, Conflag, Incinerate, Shadowfury, and Searing Pain being the staple spells in PvP.)

Nether Protection
is
worth 3 points. It totally obliterates 3 classes. Given the lack of defense in Destro, I'd always grab it.
Have you ever played with it Nef? First off, against a Warlock with a Fel Hunter it will be of dubious value because many of the procs will be devoured. (Ditto Backlash, which is extremely frustrating.) If you get lucky it may turn the tide, but it's not at all reliable. It will mostly only matter in the beginning of the fight, since an early proc can delay them applying more DoTs by a few seconds. Fel Guard locks it helps a bit more, but one successful Banish is all it takes to rip them to shreds anyway.
Fire Mages? Easily one of the rarest characters to run into in PvP. I can't say I have a clear memory of fighting them with NP, or what difference it made. I did have a recent encounter with a Fire Mage, myself not having NP, and I didn't miss it one bit. He only managed to prevail because Impact proc'd on nearly every spell. In a rematch I defeated him handily.
Shadow Priests are one case where it definitely helps. Even though they could dispel it, it's probably not worth the time or mana, and I imagine most don't even realize what's happening, being that Destro is so rare. But I gotta say, lately it seems Shadow Priest are also one of the rarer specs out there.
The thing is, these are all characters that are already (somewhat) easy kills for us. We don't need spell defense, we need melee defense. It's not that I think 3 points in NP is a waste, just that it's near the bottom of the list if you have to make a tough choice. It's a neat little gimmick, but not a staple ability. With all the new goodies deep in Destro I don't know that there will be enough points. (But depending on how the spec plays after the x-pac I may decide instant Corruption isn't necessary, which changes everything.)
There is only one situation where I regret not having Nether Protection, and that's fighting another Destruction Warlock who
does
have it. In this case you are pretty much screwed. You only stand a chance if you have the Fel Hunter out, and even then it's pretty long odds.
EDIT: It just occurred to me: aren't the Death Knight's "Unholy" spells shadow based? If so that definitely makes NP much more valuable, especially since I think we can expect to see a ton of DKs in PvP, and they will probably be pain for Destro given that their damage is partially melee-based. I guess I will end up taking Nether Protection after all....

Fire Mages are much less common than Shadow Priests. I don't seem to run into the latter very often, but it could just be me. But look at this site:
Arena rankings
Why do you think Fire makes up less than 5% of the teams?
I won't comment on your assertion that the 2k damage from Corruption isn't worth a GCD.
As for "unreliable" as an appropriate adjective for NP, maybe it's not. You can rely on it to proc at least once while fighting these classes. Each proc is good for 1 or 2 spells, a few hundred DoT damage. The times when it really matters are when you get lucky and it eats something important, like Death Coil or Fear. And that's the thing about Fire Mages; it's actually not that great vs. them because there are no "special" fire abilities that might get stopped by NP; the only one is PoM+Pyro. But basically they are just gonna be spamming fire nukes. You are saved for 4 seconds. That's, again, 1 or 2 spells.
You need a string of procs, or lucky timing, for NP to turn a fight. I don't know, that's kind of "unreliable" in my book.

Kotake
Last talent in Destro tree is the Chaos bolt, a bolt of fire damage, 990 to 1256. Cannot be resisted and pierces through absorption and inmunity mechanics.715 mana cost, 1.5 sec cast, 8 sec cooldown and 30 yd range. I don´t know what % of the spell damage will it take.

spec??????
LoL, yes, you will definitely have the option of creating a deadly machine-gun Imp. But to what end? The fact that he can be killed by a stiff breeze makes him unusable as a source of damage in most situations.
