Sorry Travysh but I'd have to disagree with you about what would be better.
Gloves of Quickening over T4 and S2? Sorry but they both offer more for enhancement shaman than the Gloves. They would be good for a starting shaman until you get either of them. Also consider that each of the season pvp gear is suppose to be equivilent of the tier set. S2 is suppose to be the pvp equivilent of T5. Both the T4 and S2 offer more ap, agility, crit, int, etc. over the Gloves of Q.
This also goes with the leggings. The S2 and T4 offer more to us over the Rip-Flayer.
It should be S2 > T4 > Kara non-set epics.

I think it's worth mentioning that most S1/S2 PVP gear can now be obtained from token drops in raids. In other words, the same tokens used to get T4/5/6 Raid gear will also buy you S1/S2 gear.
This will make it MUCH faster to get fully PVP geared.

PVP gear is not welfare gear it can take months to get fully geared for PVP you can get geared for PVE in a week of raids
This largely depends on luck. I've been through Karazhan a number of times and have only a few pieces of gear to show for it. If I had spent all the time that I have in Karazhan doing BGs instead of would be in full S1 (or have plenty of honor saved up for S2) right now, weapons and all.
