Every man in wow act tough until they hear a girl voice and turned soft.

My old guild leader is probably the coolest guy i have ever met both online and real life. He's always laughing and making silly jokes. I have never seen him yelling or being angry at anyone for making mistakes. Too bad he stopped playing.
I've made so many great friends through this game but the best relationship I've made is with my boyfriend! We met in BC and we're still together and have been living together for the past few years now. I wouldn't have met him without this game so WoW will always have a special place in my heart :)
back in BC, I ran with my druid in satyr village in ashenvale (near splintertree post) and saw mage slowly dying because he pulled more mobs that he couldn'T handled. So I healed him, helped him killed them, buffed and went my own way, when he whisped me. So we started little chat, then called via skype, and later on, even met RL, which was kinda awesome. And that's how I met my first friend via WoW :)
When i leveled up my main, i met a guy, that i continued leveling with. When we reached max level , he asked, if we could meet up in real life, i said ok, and Next day when i went to school, one of my friends said that he should meet up with one from the game, i asked what was the characters name and he said my characters name, then we become best friends. :D
I made a friend almost 4 years ago on WoW. She and I have helped each other through many tough situations, including her father's death, my mother's death, my troublesome marriage, and my divorce. She even bothered to find a way to contact me by mail and phone when I was at my lowest low, and she kept my spirits up and truly saved my life (in the literal sense). We are still friends to this day, actually talking about WoWhead at the moment, and are going to be meeting up this summer for some concerts. It'll be the first time we've actually hung out, out of game and I'm very excited to do so. She's my best friend and I would do anything for the girl. I don't even want to think where I'd be if it wasn't for her.So if you're reading this, thank you Kristen. =)
I have met so many people in WoW both good and bad, but I have kept many relationships throughout the years. I have a couple that have I talked to almost everyday for many years. I love my guild mates and I feel like I know them personally. I love having the friendships that I have made through WoW and I do not regret any of them!
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
I have already met two of my guildies IRL, had them stay over this Xmas too :) It was wonderful. I have a few more I am yet to meet but I plan to this year or next!
I can't match up to some of these responses, but here it goes:I didn't start playing until Cata, so this is something from that era. Somewhere around the time DS LFR came around, I hit 90. I went into an LFR and saw somebody from my realm pulling amazing DPS numbers; I play a hunter and she was another hunter... so I started talking to her and we eventually got to know each other a bit better and she introduced me to some of her guildmates. To this day I haven't joined her guild, but I have raided with her and her guildmates often.
from my guild, we did have to get a guild meet somewhere in Finland (because we are finnish people), but then again, it didn't happened.
I'm very good friend with this shaman in one of my old guilds, but for some reason only after playing together for 2 years straight we figured out we were actually IRL neighbors! Fortunately our friendship survived the guild's break up...
Eight years ago I decided to do a Dire Maul North Tribute run with a few guildies. The crazy fury warrior put on a shield and tanked for us. He was new to the guild, and after the run was over we didn't stop talking. Now I'm going to marry that fury warrior this year, and I'm grateful for every day we've had together after meeting in World of Warcraft.I also met my current best friend and future maid of honor in WoW. Before the days of LFG, I whispered a random paladin in Westfall, begging her to heal a Dead Mines run. She wasn't specced healing, but I convinced her it didn't matter. Now five years later, we're insuperable, and moving in together next week!
Im currently in a skype call doing retro raiding with the most amazing guildies, who i never would had met without warcraft. We argue and laugh but always never take things to heart =)
I'm lucky enough to have been playing WoW with my wife since back in '08!
I met two people and was in a raiding guild with them, only to later discover that they lived a mere 15 minutes away from me. The three of us went out for coffee and have been friends ever since, even though they don't play anymore.
