Best part of 2013 ... in game when we were finally able to slap Garrosh out of the mantle of Warchief !
Flying endlessly around Pandaria, my kid's character in tow (or vice versa), killing rare elites. We each leveled several alts, and had a great time hanging out with each other.
WoW related? That's easy...I'd left the game soon after 4.2 came out and, even if I thought of coming back many times, I didn't want to put in the time I knew I'd want to (progression raiding, full Conquest gear, gold-capped, guild officer before I left). Yet one day a friend got together a group of RL mates that never played amongst us to roll fresh on an unknown realm for us all (and PvP, at that). Being how we all built up as a group the rhythm we played at as well as RL obligations I didn't have before I came back to find I can actually play much more casually (though the elitist jerk sometimes comes out) and simply enjoy it without NEEDING to drop it.Non-WoW best thing? Too many to list, but I'll guess it was finishing my college credits; only the thesis left to wrap that chapter up. :D
The best part of 2013 was getting two legendary cloaks!
Returning to Blizzcon was my favorite part of 2013!
My favorite part of 2013 was duo-ing old content with my mom. We found lots of cool transmog gear, pets, and even a few mounts. :)
Have to say my best time in 2013 was in-game..getting my legendary cloak was exhilarating. I never had a legendary when it was current for it's time/expac and getting the cloak was like 'wow' for me. I got benched for working on shadowmourne in my old guild in wrath and never got to work on dragonwrath/fangs because the guild was focused on helping another person/rogue get them first.
I leveled my first alt to max level!
The two biggest things in 2013 for me were completing my bachelor's degree and then getting a job that is in my field and pays a lot better than my previous job.
That it's over... Does that count?
Favorite parts of 2013:-Enjoy WoW along with getting a large group of 10-15 real life/internet friends to play.-Going into my last semester of College.-And spending another year with the girlfriend. I am hoping for a good and productive 2014.-Prongs
My first WoW-internet boyfriend. Woo-hoo!
Blizzcon. Otherwise known as- the most wonderful time of the year.
With this expansion it's tough to pick just one thing. I loved the conclusion of the Pandaren campaign. Finally some plot! I loved that the raids were a little different for Horde and Alliance and I'd love to see more of that. But I have to say that my favorite thing in 2013 was the patch with the Timeless Isle! Bringing all my toons up to speed with the LFR, the rares, the exploration, the pets, the tournament... I'm still there every day!Merry Christmas and a happy new year!
Loved Blizzcon this year. Can't wait for Warlords!
Best time of 2013 while playing WoW was when I first logged on after I came home from Afghanistan and got to chat to all my guildies on TS who hadn't heard from me for around 8 months, we then proceeded to run lots of LFR to get my characters up to date with some gear.Merry Christmas everyone :)
Ah, fond memories of 2013I have to say, my favourite bit was working through the LFR system to culminate in the final downfall of that traitorous scum Garrosh (LFR allows me to get the raids done in my own time.. and whilst I'll eventually get em done with guildees it means I don't have to wait for the thrilling conclusion to the story!)Facing him in that final battle and taking him down for the good of the Horde.... brought a small tear to my eye...Oh... and GREEN FIRE! =)
My favorite part of 2013 was reading Glory of the LFR raider and peeing my pants. That was some laugh out loud funny.
my favorite part of 2013 was definitely Christmas i luv the reindeer pet in fiest of winterveil
I think becoming Guild Leader (even if only temporarily) was pretty exciting this year!
