Lancalor Orcbane
Guest Hall
Lancalor knocked on the door he presumed to be Conrad's.
He had changed into his regular clothes, a pair of boots, heavy trousers, blue shirt and a hood. It was far too soon to take off his hood, he still had much to do, much to atone for and much to avenge.
At the very least however, he won't leave without whoever controlled the machine's head.

After almost a minute, the door slowly turned a few degrees, barely enough to allow Lancalor to see Conrad's face in the aperture. The blond human looked like he was struggling with an urge to groan in pain, and was visibly favoring his left leg. He was in the altogether except for a single piece of clothing - a cross between wide pants and a divided skirt, tied at the waist and falling to his ankles. It was made of stiff, striped silk, deep green and black in color.
Conrad eyed the other human, then asked through clenched teeth, "Who are you, and what do you want?"
Character
: Tsubedai
Location
: Kitchen
Cooking became a challenge when an ornamental bastard sword rested across the table. However, Tsubedai wasn't about to let go of the weapon, the blade being a tiny beacon of certainty in the mess he found himself in. In a few hours, or even less, he might already be fighting for his life, but now he would make a stew.

Conrad narrowed his eyes, then after a minutely consideration opened the door wide.
"You do know that makes you sound ever more suspicious than before, right?" he asked, quirking an eyebrow. Nevertheless, he retreated into the room, allowing Lancalor to enter. To ease the weight on his leg, Conrad leaned against a wall, crossing his arms on his chest and waiting for the other human to begin speaking.

Lancalor Orcbane
Guest Hall
Lancalor left Conrad's room and snuck out to the main hallway, where he took a pair of the swords, he lacked the time to fully forge these into a workable greatsword, that would be for another time.
For today, he stashed them inside his room and locked it, then proceeded to lie on his bed, thinking.
It would take a long time to gather the allies he needed to leave this place, especially with some people blatantly making it obvious they intend to murder their way out.

When the other was gone, Conrad sat down onto the bed and ran his fingers through his hair. As far as last names go, Orcbane was certainly a new... something for him. He wondered what would this Lancalor say or do if he got wind of Conrad's dark passenger.
It mattered not as long as they were inside this house, of course. Conrad pushed away the clothing and fell onto his back, drumming his fingers against his bare abdomen and staring into the ceiling. The prospect of having to bother with subterfuge if he were to kill someone got under his skin more than he cared to admit.
"Wonder if the damn midget can see me now," he muttered, flipping the ceiling a bird, just in case. Then, after remembering that the room was soundproof - for other guests, at least, - Conrad spoke up, louder.
"What about murder in self-defense, huh? What if some oh so sly moron with the grace of a drunken fat ogre tries to jump me with a big jagged knife?"

"Is that trouble brewing, or do I smell food?" Sarrin chimed, poking his head in through the kitchen door.

"Considering our host? Both, I suppose," Tsubedai laughed weakly.
"Can I tempt you with some meat stew while it's still hot?" he asked, turning to face the door.

"Consider me tempted," the elf replied, showing not the slightest hint of being affected by their common situation.

Arthur Handel
Location:
Guest Room
Taking to his dresser, Arthur was relieved to find his clothes from before hanging within. With a furtive look about he changed into them at once. He sighed, once more comfortable in the thin clothing, the soles of his shoes so thin he could practically feel the floor beneath, the fabric coarse and scratchy. Pausing while adjusting his vest, he momentarily wondered if that made him weird.
Making his way to the door he paused with a hand on the handle. He took a deep breath. A strong front would be his best weapon here. He was the weakest, and in all likelihood the most viableoption to be killed. Only by seeming to know more than the others until he in fact did so would save him. Knowledge and confidence in it would be his shield.
"I know about this house," he repeated to himself, casting a last look around the room. "I will find a way to escape." The teddy bear stared back with dead button eyes. "...You shut up."
Arthur pushed his way into the hall.
Character:
Zeeta Bladebreaker
Location:
Guest Room
Zeeta was mad.
The closet was filled with nothing more than the stupid rags which she had first awoken in. Nothing even remotely functional in the lot. In the end, she had been forced to don one of them, though hs ehad taken steps to ensure it was more flexible via slitting the cloth in various key areas. It would likely rip if she had to move fast, but she'd rather be naked and alive than dead and clothed.
Slipping back into the hall, she made her way down to the room which she had seen the orc from before enter. She knocked softly.

Keradaa entered her room and quickly locked it behind her. She had quickly inspected it and found nothing of value. This led immediately to her next goal: take a small nap to let her brain deal with everything.
And, with that, she passed out on the bed.
Character
: Erdwal Stonegouger
Location

Erdwal shut the door, staring around the new room. With a quickness that could only come from practice, he checked every surface for anything useful. This was immediately followed by looking under all surfaces and checking any nooks or crannies for any sort of listening, seeing or explosive device.

"What the..."
Conrad bolted upright, backtracking away from Monogear. So startled he was by the gnome's sudden entrance he forgot to favor his good leg.
"What the actual hell?" he demanded angrily, staring at the clockwork automaton. "Do you want people to die from a heart freaking attack, where no one else can see them?
!"

The elf approached and took the bowl gratefully. He tasted, and nodded. "Yes," he said quickly, "but it's still delicious. Better not add any more, and have an opportunity to get a better one next time. Don't you think?"

"I am Sarrin," the elf introduced himself with a small, comical curtsey before following Tsubedai and sitting down opposite of him. "Reclaimer of relics, as it happens. Although there does not seem to be very much of real value here..."
