Captain Sterling
Location:
Stranglethorn
Johnny Bittermnan was one of those sorts of people who did not particularly enjoy the sunlight, or the sea, or any wide open spaces where giant birds might come down and take you to their nests to eat, like old uncle Albert. He was also one of those sorts of people who's guardian is their uncle named Albert and gets eaten by a roc, therefore they must turn to a life of piracy to get by.
And now he was one of those people who's friend gets stabbed through the wall of a ship.
"Holy fel!" Johnny screamed, stumbling away from the albino who suddenly began to fill the narrow passage of the below ship.

Character
: Lyshalis Mirkdancer
Location
: Desolace
Lyshalis followed the warrior and priestess as the rogue didn't want to be alone.
The rogue saw the bear looking at the side and Lyshalis did the same and quickly turned her head forwards and entered the store.

: Ohrmuzd

Ohrmuzd cackled maniacally and wordlessly, fuming with reckless, jovial malice and glowing in every sense but the literal. Yet. He lunged at Johnny, deciding that the gawking deckhand's head would work well as an additional intimidation factor.

Johnny's head flew through the air. It thumped across the wooden deck and came to rest at the foot of the stairs, and those of half a dozen sailcloth wearing, cutlass wielding bloodsail buccaneers.
An effeminate looking and thus only presumably a man stood at the bottom of the steps, garbed in red robes with the hood thrown back to reveal several posies sticking from his ear. His arms were crossed and on a shoulder an imp hunched, glaring balefully at the albino.
The robed man pointed. "Get'im."
Get'im they did.

"I vote we leave," Vanitas said, gesturing at the chaos around them. "We can get you a healer when we're not in the center of a disaster zone."
Character
: Zachary Palesen
Location
: Zul'Gurub
"Then let's go," Zach said, nodding in agreement. "Let's head around back and look for other entrances. If there aren't any, we'll move along the walls to the front door. While I don't mind a fight, I really, REALLY don't feel like fighting a bunch of trolls today."
Character
: Morgan, Eleshor
Location
: Desolace
The night passed, as nights are wont to do, eventually ending up with Morgan out in the morning sunrise. After a moment, a fiery hawk landed next to him and morphed into the druid. "What are you waiting for?" Eleshor asked bluntly.
"One of our new operatives," Morgan replied serenely. His eyes never left the horizon, which was dampened with enough smoke so that one could look at the sun without hurting their eyes.
"They aren't due until tomorrow," Eleshor said with a frown.
"I'm sure this one will arrive early," Morgan replied with a shrug.

Character
: Ohrmuzd
Location
: Wild Shore
Ohrmuzd did not know whether the haphazard, fear-driven maneuvers of the six pirates could count as an organized attack. It mattered little. The discrepancy in power was too vast for their efforts to bring fruit, and for all intents and purposes they were coming at him one by one, only to get slaughtered, one by one.
One of them was faster than his comrades. He was the first to take a swing at the giant. The flight of his cutlass was brought to an abrupt halt when Ohrmuzd shot out his arm, gripping the buccaneer's sword hand and squeezing, mercilessly crushing the bones. An expression of complete bewilderment, stemming from his inability to comprehend the reason for his defeat, appeared briefly on the freebooter's face through a grimace of pain - and then an oblique strike of the Corpse Eater relieved him of his weapon arm, shoulder and most of his head above the mouth.

"I would appreciate a ride, then. I do not think I am in a condition to run long and hard," he admitted.

Gahz'ruun, Sagohkrn
Location:
Menethil Harbor
Seven militia men screamed in almost perfect unison; but the primal force that was bearing down on them did not care for such coincidences. The shaking men raised their swords, hoping to stop the hydra queen. It was to no avail, unfortunately. Gahz'ruun devoured them three at a time until they were gone. Her three heads hissed with pleasure. Her ears picked up the sounds of more prey; "I would appreciate a ride, then. I do not think I am in a condition to run long and hard."
Sagohkrn saw the massive hydra slithering towards the unsuspecting travelers. Running towards them, he yelled out a warning.

Jastiel promptly slumped on his behind, trying not to shake his head. To that end he even clutched his temples, letting his white sword fall on the floor.
"Ugh. Why does it have to hurt me," he moaned, not yet realizing where he was, or whether Vanitas had taken Tula along as well.

Gahz'ruun leapt onto the scene snapping and hissing angrily at where the figures had been just as Sagohkrn, weaponless save his spells, jumped upon her, grabbing one of her necks.

The death knight was indeed present, though how she felt at being suddenly transported was up in the air. Vanitas, himself, staggered slightly, bumping into a wall and sliding down it. "Bleh, now I remember why I don't take others with me," he muttered, rubbing his forehead and wincing.
Outside the window, a gigantic forge could be seen, placing them at none other than Ironforge. People milled about near the shops outside and the air was filled with a murky haze.

Character:
Captain Sterling
Location:
Stranglethorn
The period of grace afforded by the buccaneers revealed that the red robed man had not been idle. In hsi hands rolled a ball of fire as large as a cannon ball. The effeminate figure gazed at the albino with haughty contempt as he raised the fireball over his head.
"Get'im."
He hurled the ball fo rolling flames down the narrow confines of the ships hold.

Sagohkrn forged a hammer of light and realed back in pain. Gahz'ruun slammed her central head down, crushing Sagohkrn. Gasping, Sagohkrn flung his hammer out; it burst into a thousand sparks, causing the right head of the Hydra Queen to blow apart. The remaining two heads reared up in agony, giving the Priest the perfect opportunity to back away from the enraged beast.

Jastiel stuck out his tongue as the damp heat of the city beneath the mountain caught up to him.
"Yuck, Ironforge. How do people leave outside that pleasant cavern with a lake here and tolerate the heat is beyond me," he mumbled, apparently needing to babble so as not to pass out.

Character
: Ohrmuzd
Location
: Wild Shore
Ohrmuzd grabbed the nearest pirate by the throat to shield himself from the flames. At least he had the courtesy to stab the man in the stomach before the blazes washed over them. Still, the fireball was far too great for the albino to completely evade it with such crude measures, and his arms were quickly covered in burns. Roaring in pain and anger, Ohrmuzd charged at the spell caster, a stampede of one, still holding the burnt and stabbed corpse in front of him.
Character
: Vargariel "the Bear" Chandaris
Location
: Desolace
"As you wish, revered one," Vargariel inclined his head politely, then walked out of the shop. He decided to check the inn first - the innkeepers tended to possess an uncanny conversance of the events in their immediate vicinity, and it was to that building that he directed his steps.
Character
: Isaac Ashwood
Location
: Zul'Gurub
"Sure, let the new guy lead," Isaac muttered. It was not that he was peeved, not exactly, but he felt the need to point this out. Then again, it was not like he had better ideas than the one Valor was already acting on.

Character
: Vanitas Caligula
Location
: Ironforge
"Sorry," Vanitas said with a shrug, poking his head out the door. "But we needed a healer, and this was the first place I thought of."
Indeed, a moment later, someone else entered the room. He was taller and more muscular than Vanitas, and looked a few years older. However, they shared obvious familial ties, from their ruddy complexion to curly hair. "What have you been up to today?" the newcomer asked with a long-suffering sigh. He approached the most obviously injured, Jastiel, and knelt down next to him. Light began to shine from his fingers, golden and welcoming, and flowed down over the cryomancer.
"Not much, Matt," Vanitas said with a shrug. "Though there might be something in the news later about an attack on Menethil..."
Matthew Palesen shot him a disappointed look. "I thought you said you weren't going to do things like that anymore."
"It wasn't me," Vanitas protested. "Honest!" he added, seeing his cousin's skeptical look. "I swear, it wasn't me. I don't do large scale stuff like that anyways."
"... true," Matthew acknowledged, standing. "Don't exert yourself," he shot to Jastiel. "Or dad will kill me. Anyone else need a hand?"

Zach followed after, keeping in a crouch to stay hidden in the brush. "It's okay," he replied (just as quietly) back to Isaac. "People in front always trigger the traps."

The death knight remained put for a while, watching the trio disappear into a shop. If the glance from the Bear had been perceived, he showed no visible reaction to it. Neither did he show any interest in Lyshalis' short look in his direction.
When the sizeable elf again emerged from the shop and laid a course for the inn, the death knight happened to be in the exact same position as before, only now it was in the way of the Bear and his companion.
