No I do not, only game I play is World of Warcraft.
nope
I use steam. I like it, it's a handy way to keep my games organized, and keep in contact with old friends that I game with.
I dont use any other programs for games. I only play WoW.
I do use Steam, technically, but my computer is so *!@# that I can't play as many games as I want to.
Yes, i use for play Age of Empires Online, Dungeonland and Dota 2, just because its the only way to play those games.
Steam - I prefer to buy game digitally and it's generally cheaper.Origin - I had to use it to get ME3, not a regular user tho...
I use Steam because of its excellent sale offers and wide selection of games, and am... pretty much forced to use Origin for Mass Effect 3. Out of the two, Steam is undeniably better.
Steam, Origin, Uplay I use them all. Digital Downloads especially for PC are the future and the fact that GAME and HMV; Britain's two main video game retailers almost went bust shows that. If you're connection is fast enough you can download it now quicker than it would take to go out and buy it. The only disadvantage is you don't have any physical media; but in a way this is a good thing. Having to install the game through the same DVD; the same version; would mean you would have to update it to the latest patch every time. Don't take long I know but still it's inconvenient. With the digital download you're going to get the latest patched version every time you download it.The best part is the offers they are able to do, the 75% off and the free to play weekends you see on steam are mouth watering and dangerous to my bank account. I'm hoping that Valve and other services are going to be providing similar services to other platforms. (By platform I don't mean Linux, Linux is for hippy's everyone knows it)UPlay had the right idea giving you rewards for the achievements you get; although some of the rewards are pretty lame. Like in Far Cry 3 one area unlocked is a cave with generally nothing of any use inside. It's a shame that Steam have not used this yet. I've used Microsoft's digital download service for Office 365 University Edition, couldn't say no for £50 (about 60 euros / dollars). A nice four year subscription but only three installs? My system, my dads laptop and that was only one install remaining. I don't like this limited install thing Microsoft has.
Nope, but husband and son both use stream alot.
No, I only play a few games and don't need many, WoW and CoD is all I rlly need
I only use Steam as I like Valve as a company. I was forced to try it out with Half-Life. Going to be very hard to get me to use any other service as all my games are already in Steam and don't want them in multiple locations. Really dislike how EA, Ubisoft and Microsoft trying to force users to use their platforms.
steam, league of legendsand wow r pretty much my main platforms for gaming. generally outside of WoW and LoL i do all my digital downloads through steam since there reliant and pretty damned fast. always reliable for a good mtg game download. obviously curse for my addons since who doesnt use curse.com these days?
i only used Steam once - to buy and play Skyrim, nothing else. WoW is already time consuming, so i don't have time to play other games anymore
Yes, I use steam. Why? Skyrim forced me to. That's all.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
I have never used anything like that. I only play WoW.
Only play WoW. I had Steam installed on my last computer, but never used it, so when I got my new one, didn't re-install.
I use steam for my games like CSS, garrysmod, Dota2 and many other games but I have to use Origin also but I hate it tbh. I don't get why would they make a new program like that when there is steam and it's pretty nice. Steam is pretty helpful when you wanna join your friends' games.
