I use Steam and I use it quite regulary. It's a great digital distribution platform. Many sales, supporting indie developers and supporting user made content via Steam workshop. I like that.
Yes, I do use Steam. And I have Origin, but only because it's standard with the Sims...
Just steam for me. I don't find any of the other options really hold up against it either.
I use Steam, why? because its a really good digital download service, i have friends in Steam, Steam have a huge collection of games, good prices (and deals) and its a efficient system.
I use Steam; I like the convenience it offers me. The routine sales are another nice reason to use Steam, as well.
This post was from a user who has deleted their account.
I have both Steam and Origin but I don't use them to download because I only play three or four PC games that are already on my computer.
I don't use Steam, I prefer getting physical copies of my games.
I want a kitty. Wowhead rules!
Yes, i use Steam and Nuuvem and also, download games on Xbox360 and PS3 (if that counts). I use them because it's usually cheaper and you don't "lose forever" the game, if something happens, you can download again. Physical medias deteriorate, break, "disappear". When this happens... you have to spend even more money to buy a new copy.
I don't use them.
I use steam. Mostly because it's so convenient.
I use steam and origin. I use them because they have games I play a lot, like skyrim and the sims 3. I like them because my cat has a disc fetish. He appears to have an extreme urge to sit on them, scratch them, etc. So no discs makes my life easier.
Yeah I do, occasionally. It helps me stay in touch with the gamer friends that don't play on WoW or use facebook that often and it sometimes opens my eyes to the Steam sales etc that pop up every now and then, and games when my sub is inactive or I don't have much free time but want to play a game, such as Team Fortress.
I use steam and have had an account since January 2009 with them. I use it because of how extremely easy it is to buy games, update patches, purchase DLC and how I can re-download as many times as I need without having to re-buy the game (or serial key). I also buy Blizzard games in their digital store instead of buying a boxed game or expansion. Its mostly convenience. Its a lot easier than trying to find a store who sells a particular PC game I want as most retailers don't keep very many on hand anymore and have gone mostly console. Its also easier to find patches in one place than trying to find the correct website, find the correct patch for my version of windows and install it in some hard to find file folder. Just open steam and if a game needs updating, its already doing it! if a game is corrupt or a file is missing it repairs it on the fly... Not to mention the Cloud Service they provide on most games. No more having to redo everything from scratch from a corrupted save file.
I use Steam because Valve. Nuff said.
I've used Steam for a number of years, and enjoy the ability to be able to play my games across a multitude of computers, and be able to download them whenever.
