You can also hit "O" to pull up your friends list and add friends there. You should be able to add just the @account handle to friend all of their toons, but I'm not 100% sure on that one.

They're cheap to add.
They're cheap to add if you have access to an internationally accepted currency :/
On the other hand, Rank, it's F2P- you can just make multiple accounts for more character slots.
Oh yes, my apologies. I knew about that but completely forgot >.<

Who the &*!@ keeps taking Meeha as a handle?
I've seriously used that name since I was 11, I WANT MY GODDAMMED ONLINE NAME

Don't worry about the handle. The fact that that is universal means that character names will never be taken in games.

How do you see what your own handle is anyways? I have several names attached to my Perfect World account, and I'm not sure which one is being used as the handle for Neverwinter.

When logged in to the website it will say "Welcome Asakawa" (or your name) at the top.

I have been watching some people play (seems to be all I ever do nowadays because I can't play it myself, lol) and it looks great imo.
You can add in your own backstory for your character, players can make quests for others to go on, and lots of other things. And like Rank mentioned, I liked the way you can physically block and take no damage. I'm sure there are probably some things you can't block, but it looks better than just stacking numbers until you hit the magic one where you won't take damage.
If I had a decent computer and internet connection I would love to join y'all, but I don't see that happening anytime soon. And I really miss playing an MMO.

Bah :S tried making a second account to try the other classes and its not letting me. Keeps saying that I need to agree to the ToS and retype my password. Problem is, I've agreed to the damned thing, and reentered my password.
=(
Must be broken right now. I'll try again tomorrow.

Anyone on Beholder?
Agasthad@dwarvenwaraxe
Also, GWF is supposed to be DPS, but either I suck, or the class itself sucks. I got outdamaged by a rogue 6 levels lower than me.
I suppose if I followed a guide for builds it would help, but where's the fun in that?

So Skirmishes and Dungeons, or perhaps tough Foundry quests? Because I've never needed a group for anything aside from those, and I've only done solo or 2+ Foundry quests. I am only level 34 though, so I'm not sure if I've hit things like that.

I'm on Beholder, @asakawa42.
That does seem to be the case for GWF right now. TRs lead single target damage by a margin with CWs doing good AoE and having a strong niche with their control. GWF sound like they need a buff to something to give them their own niche.
The things I've been reading about GF at max level worry me a little. Essentially people don't need them to turtle up and tank the bosses because they're slow and telegraph their attacks. Basically groups on the hardest content have Rogues on the bosses while the GF rounds up adds to protect the DC/CW. Some groups forgo a GF completely, opting for a second Cleric. I'd better get there and see for myself.

I have noticed that as a GWF I can sit and do damage rather than having to evade the enemies charged (not red circle) attacks. My cleric companion can usually heal me fast enough that I don't fall critical, and Restoring Strike is a nice supplement too. Not sure if that's unique to GWF's though, though I don't doubt GF's can do the same.

I respecced my Feats last night, paying the AD cost to do so. Later I decided to respec my Powers too, paying the Zen cost. It turns out that the 600-Zen respec resets powers, feats and even attribute points.

I'm sure the guides will come out soon- they're still in Beta. My rogue absolutely wrecks, though, so I can see that they're the top DPS right now. I have only run one dungeon (too many games at once- I am being slow) but I beat out the second DPS by quite a margin, and I was constantly lagging behind trying to loot every single thing. It helps that we have both ranged attacks, and the ability to teleport right behind the target for melee. There isn't a lot of time I can't spend DPS-ing.
I haven't tried the GWF-do they have much mobility while fighting?(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##ElhonnaDS##DELIM##

I did only the most preliminary testing on the classes (as in, first 5 levels, completed the tutorial dungeon, and completed the dungeon where the thieves steal the crown) and this is what I noticed:
GF: Pretty good, can soak up a lot of damage with guard, and the guard meter is easy to replenish. Their cleave is pretty good too.
CW: kinda weak, but that's ok, because most enemies can be frozen or incapacitated so you can pelt them from range without taking much damage.
DC: at least at the lower levels this thing is a powerhouse. Hits quite decently, and can heal up while attacking. Never had to use a single rest point at all.
TR: sorta squishy, unlike the wizard you can't control the mobs, and unlike the cleric you can't heal, unlike the guardian you can't soak damage, BUT they hit so insanely hard, stuff dies in seconds anyways. When I had to do the boss, I more or less 3 shotted him.
GWF: This is by a far and wide margin THE MOST USELESS CLASS in the whole game. This is still beta, so things are not final but they better buff it in some way because on their current state they're terrible. Tutorial boss left me at 20% HP, attacks hit like a wet noodle, and don't have any niche like the other classes do. What I found most concerning is their cleave.
How is it possible that a class with a sword and a shield, has a cleave that increases in damage with more targets (first target gets 50 points of damage, second one takes 70, third one takes 90, fourth one takes 130, etc) while a class with a HUUUUUUUUUUGE sword has a cleave that DECREASES in damage with more targets, and the initial damage is pathetically low in the first place? (30 damage on the first target, 20 on the second one, 10 on the third, etc). I have no idea.
They lack the CC and AoE capacity of the wizard, the survival of the guardian, the DPS of the rogue, etc. They need a HUGE buff to make them even remotely useful. Fights I could easily do on the other classes were barely survivable on this guy, and while I was able to finish the first 2 solo dungeons without spending a single healing potion on the other classes, I had to use FIVE on this guy.
