"Lean over, have a look," Kaestan suggested, keeping his eyes on the water. "It's beautiful. I've always been influenced by water. I do my best work in the rain," he said with a smile. The look in his eyes suggested that he was trapped in a distant memory.

Arthur shrugged and did so. It was nice, admittedly. The way the sun played off the cerulean blue, flashing silver as the waves of the boat rippled out to lap at the distant banks. The water came from a lake fed from the mountains run off, so he had read, giving it a crystal clarity like the fortune teller's ball. He could nearly make out the plant life swaying on the bottom from the current.
"It's nice," he remarked. "most of the waters in Lordaeron now are so muddy you can barely see an inch deep."

"A little bit, maybe," Siber nodded thoughtfully.
A staircase leading to the upper deck was nearby, so the youth did not hesitate to climb it. After reaching the top he let out a sharp whistle that could be heard even downstairs, where Octavian was standing.
"You have got to see it until we sail too close!" Siber called.

Theo thought of some comment regarding the smell of burning flesh and gallons of blood flowing across a rolling deck, but nothing came to him that wasn't overly blunt.
Instead he popped his neck and relaxed back in his seat. "I'm thinking more like research myself," he said after another moment of contemplation.

"Really? That's too bad," Kaestan murmured, still staring at the water. He looked up, his eyes widening at the Collegium came into view. "Amazing..." the elf breathed, staring at the old, sprawling building. "It's magnificent!"

"Well, I think I should get back to my books and things! I'm sure the ride is nearly over, and I have a few additions to my hat that I'd like to sew on really quick!" chimed Meeba, reaching up to touch the Huanei's arm lightly. "It was lovely meeting you miss, yes yes it was! And you, little wyrm," she added, wiggling her fingers at the magical creature.
And with that, the pink haired gnome edged herself off the seat, weaseled her way out of the door (careful as to not let anyone see inside) and shut it behind her, making sure Amos was beside her. She headed back to her own booth across the hall and dug into her packs, pulling out a bright green pointed hat with the same golden floral pattern as her dress.

Arthur Handel

Arthur turned at Kaestan's words, and beheld the school.
Grand could hardly do the structure at large justice. It was great, sprawling building surrounded by the gleaming waters of a lake on one side, the verdant thriving grass and deep forests on the other. It set itself against the blue and grey visage of the mountain range like a portrait would, with the mountains only serving to thrust it to the fore.
The main body was a castle of the more decorative sorts, with unmistakeable influences from the gothic with large stained glass windows, jutting arches and malefic gargoyles. It sprawled down a slight slope made by the reverse of growing cliffs at the side, a single massive gate facing outward and a low wall looping about until it was cut by the cliff to hedge in the grounds. The whole of the school, though keeping the build of human architecture, had that strange rounded and almost bloating look of elven buildings.
Visible were several smaller building buttressed against one large one, a solid structure with clear militant leanings in its sharp walls as it glowered over its subordinate structures. Just visible to the approaching students were gargoyles glaring out from their perches amongst the walls. Some minarets and a saw toothed wall crowned this keep like a king of its domains, and here and there sported in total four of the smooth pillars of arcane towers, translucent and glittering magic dully rolling in their talon-like grip. At the highest point of the keep, rising from the center of the roof was a large glass dome which flashed in the sunlight regally while, just below it and above the main doors like the crown jewel to the building itself was a single large clock face. As the boats drew nearer, the dull ring of the bells sounded the hour echoed across the empty grounds.
Just as it was apparent where the military leaning of the school were where the more magical leanings resided was no less obtuse. Jutting from the keep's side and facing the lake from the end of the cliff like a widow awaiting her husbands return from the sea was a single large rounded tower, rising into the sky and petering off into peaked roof casting a long shadow like a sundial against the ground. Carvings spotted off that building with surreal and unknown patterns which seemed to shift and roll beneath the sun, and further gargoyles here leaned out from various crevices. Near the very top of the building was a broad lip jutting out and encompassing the whole of the structure.
And from this tower led the true glory of the school. Floating mid air about the tower like the planets about the sun were several other towers. Seven in total and built in a vaguely mushroom shape ending in a sharp needle of a bottom and a rounded overarching roof, they had large blue windows facing out. Though some had more outside areas than other, every one had at least one balcony, and all faced the tower which they floated rigidly about as though on invisible strings.

And, well, there may be two of us now, brother. But I seriously doubt we are the first to think such thoughts."

Grintham Stoneshield

The dwarf strode towards the bow of the ship, walking in a manner that only members of the proudest families could. His short black hair had been carefully combed and he wore pitch-black robes with silver-trim, fully enchanted, stark contrast to his pale skin; his family had spared to expense to ensure their child had the finest of attire.
Upon reaching his destination Grintham Stoneshield cleared his throat, announcing his presence, and gave a polite, for a dwarf, "
'scuse me."
With that done he pushed his way to the front - past the taller and more muscular races, apparently not caring for the fact he was only of average height and slightly less muscular than a typical dwarf - and gazed out across the waves through his grey-blue eyes.

Kazhra made her way along the deck of the ship, her indigo eyes peering out warily from beneath the cowl of her dark-blue robes. She had not expected such a wide variety of other races and, though she would never admit it, the amount of humans milling about was making her more than a little nervous.
The orc adjusted her dark-blue cloak, hiding her dark-green skin and long, messy, purple hair entirely from view, before making her way to the railing. She was of a lighter, narrower build than most of her kind and her tusks were rather on the small side, but, as if to compensate, she was a fair bit taller than the average orc and, when compared with the less stocky races, her muscles were still large enough for her figure to be considered imposing.

Mark stood up when he noticed the school entered into view. "Wow." He mumbled.
"It really is something." He heard a voice say and looked back to see the sleeping man starting to stand up. The man took off his cloak revealing a man in his early twenties with short blond hair and wearing a short sleeved blue linen shirt and leather pants with a belt and small leather pouches sewed to the belt. "Shame they couldn't add an artillery range. Going to make explosives class boring." He added but Mark wasn't paying attention instead his focus was on the mans right arm. The entire arm was gone and was replaced with a dark blue metallic replica.
"Who are you?" Mark asked.
"The name is Richard Grindgear." Richard replied as reached up and stretched his arms before leaning against the railing.
"You a student?" Mark asked turning to look back at Richard.
"Nope. Teacher I think. I don't really know the whole deal the headmaster was a little vague about the whole deal." Richard said.

Joaquin woke slowly, blinking fervently to chase the remnants of drowsiness out of his eyes. He yawned, stretched and only afterwards rose from the cot, narrowly missing banging his head on the shelf.
Whatever he was about to do he dismissed as unimportant when he turned to the porthole and saw the Collegium.
"Tristan!" he exhaled, shaking the younger man by the shoulder to wake him. "Get off your lazy arse, Tristan, you have got to see this!"
