Character: Gurka, Kitanga, Dag'rema, Fandir
Location: The Barrens
"Doesn't sound very pleasant to me," Dag'rema scoffed. "I hated my mother."
"And I was hired to protect your thick skulls," Fandir smirked, putting away his binoculars again. "Brilliant," he added, pocketing his bowler hat and turning towards the group. "Even if they are suspicious of you, I should not be difficult to sympathize with. Very well, let us be off."
Character: Snowmane, Malice
Location: Krasarang Wilds
"Really?" Snowmane asked, blinking. "I'd never heard that. Wish I'd know it about ten years ago..."
Malice gathered more fel into her palms, to the point that it physically condensed into fireballs. If the Death Knight tried to attack her again, it would be in for a painful lesson.

"Something to think about," Varyn replied. He tentatively let her go, but his hands hovered near her for a moment longer to be sure he wouldn't have to suddenly catch her again.
In the same motion, the death knight swung the weapon about and sheathed it on his back. If he was aware Malice now held two fireballs, he showed no interest in it. He turned from Malice and gestured to the air before him, his hand momentarily glowing a dread blue. At the command a goat headed skull came into existence burning a malefic purple magic. With a sound like a funeral knell the skull breathed a smoky purple magic, the familiar flat sheen of a portal taking shape.

"Oh well done Tip."
"Why thank you Top. Shall we go then?"
"Can we do so jauntily?"
"Why, what a splendid idea! I haven't had a good jaunt for ages."
"No, no we have not. But wait," Top suddenly added with a forestalling finger, "hold on Tip,"
"Yes Top?"
"Why, I do believe it would be best to ask Mister Bloodhaven if we can jaunt there."
Tip rocked back like he had been slapped. Then he did, a hand going to his forehead. "My goodness Top! How could I have been so negligent. You are absolutely right. I say, you have saved me from quite the social faux pas."
"Think nothing of it my good man."
"I shall then. Oh sir!" he exclaimed, turning to Fandir. "Sir, might my brother and I travel there with a healthy jaunt?"

The huntress quietly exited her quarters, having ensured the shattered remnants of the vase were out of the way, and walked along the hall, clad in full armour.

Vashadya nodded, it made sense, she knew the area - or at least she had, in another time and place.

Dag'rema stood, wondering if the worg was going to continue.
"I don't care if you jaunt. Do not expect me to follow suit," Fandir shrugged, continuing to walk like a sane person.
Character: Snowmane, Malice
Location: Krasarang Wilds
"Huh..." Snowmane murmured, shaking her head. She instantly regretted doing so, because it only amplified her headache and feeling of dizziness, but she managed to stay on her feet.
Malice watched, unable to discern the Death Knight's motive. It seemed as if he weren't trying to threaten her any longer, though.

"Are you certain you're alright," Varyn asked, still hovering nearby.
Wordlessly, Mordecai passed through the death gate, and emerged in the dismal and funereal halls of Archerus.

"Righto!" Both men hooked their arms around the other and threw their left leg out, bending the right knee halfway before the left foot struck the ground. Then, with a slight, hopping motion moved forward. This they repeated, dapperly following the blood elf as he moved towards the camp.

Kitanga glanced over, seeing Rotha speaking with Dag'rema, and frowned.
"How did
you
get here?" Gurka asked, not very familiar with the silver worg. "It seemed like you just suddenly manifested here last night."
Fandir sighed, heading towards the campsite. "I don't suppose you two are capable of anything useful?" he asked. "Because if this is all you bring to the party, I think I could manage this operation alone, honestly."
Character: Snowmane, Malice

"This isn't even the worst hangover I've ever had," Snowmane answered, rubbing her temples. "Though it is the first I've had in a really long time. Should have known not to mix alcohols..."
Malice watched the portal for a minute, before turning and feeling for the other members of the party.

Falionna turned around at the sound of bickering living and debatable intelligent mortals, and approaching steps.
The Dark Ranger crouched and walked in a slow and steady pace to the origins of the sound, bow and arrow ready to strike should the need arise.
Given the conversation she was able to hear it sounded as if they are planing some sort af deception and infiltration.
Could they SI:7 combating for the alliance?

Character:
Varyn Brighthammer, Mordecai

Krasarang Wilds
"Pity then," Varyn said, though to whether it was about her recent hangover, or that it had been some time since one like it remained unclear.
Slime dripped from the walls and a fetid air hung about the dismal stone corridor as Mordecai made his way through. Death Knights had little use for the buildings cleanliness, and those that did considering using a mop beneath them while ghouls and skeletons made for poor maids. Some efforts were however evident as Mordecai passed into the more frequented areas of the necropolis in the form of cleaned floors, fresh hay to suck up the water, and the dim but present glow of candles as they sputtered feebly in rusty cobwebbed chandeliers.
At first imperceptible, but soon becoming more evident was an eerie blue glow at the end of the hall. As it grew, so did the dim sound of banging hammers, hissing flames, and a gruff roar whose echoes had nothing to do with the empty halls.
"Bang the dent out boy! Don't tap! Is it saronite? Or your grandfather's steel! That's what I thought!" A particular banging in the pervasive din became more evident. "Yess. Like that. Better! Yess. Harder now. Good. Keep that up. Buff it when you're done and we can give it back to that fool to dent again!."
Mordecai stepped into the Archerus blacksmith. Blue flames roared and licked from tusked skulls of forges casting a spectral glow all about the room. Dim figures of all sizes were silhouetted in the light as they worked, throwing fuel into the flames and hammering weapons and armour into shape on tall anvils.
Had he cared, Mordecai might well wonder why everything seemed to be in the motif of skulls.
Through all this frantic activity, a single figure drew the eyes. Heavy set and tall above all the rest, a tauren filled the room with his thickly muscled form, denoting years of molding metal with fire and water into weapons of war. His eyes glowed with the fiery blue of undeath and his grey fur was patched and burned from working so near the flames. He held a large hammer at the moment as if he had just paused in his work to berate a student. He was currently tapping the tool against his palm giving the uncomfortable feeling he was just waiting to lash out at the next poor soul caught slacking. Chest thick and heaving like bellows, he roared orders over the clamour to those working beneath him like a blue eyed Volkhan.
"Keep those flames hot! We're forging weapons not making a campfire you clods! Yess. Like that! You! More wood! And you! What is that? A shoulder pad? A shoulder pad! That wouldn't stop a butter knife! Noooo. Start again!"
Mordecai watched the scene for a moment. Then stepped into the light and towards the tauren.

"Oh you need not worry Mister Bloodhaven, I feel I should tell you that Top here is quite the shot!"
"Oh stop, Tip. I seem to recall you shooting out that fellows eye last week."
"That's true. So very, very true. But,
I
seem to recall
you
taking off that fellows hat right off his head."
"You are quite right old chap. But I assure you Mister Bloodhaven that Tip here is an excellent strategist. And, if you'll forgive me for the shameless back patting, we can both be quite duplicitous."
"Oh yes, we can. We can in-deed."

"You could, but I probably wouldn't understand," Gurka shrugged, rubbing her eyes. "Spirits, I wish I had some coffee-bean tea right now."
"Well then, that's better than nothing," Fandir remarked, now less than two hundred meters from the campsite. "Just try not to blow everything, and this should be rather simple."
Character: Snowmane, Malice
Location: Krasarang Wilds
Snowmane grumbled quietly and conjured herself a glass of water before gulping it down promptly. "Well... we evaded attack today. What do you propose we do next? We can't attack that timey fellow, but we might be remiss in sitting around waiting for an attack as well."
Malice started walking to where she felt her companions. They were not too far.

Varyn nodded dourly. "Agreed. Our best hope is to remain on the move and force him to pursue rather than wait and permit him an opportunity to strike at leisure. That won't be a problem, as we still need to meet miss Kaufman, and it is rather doubtful she will come to us."
Character:
Mordecai
Location:
Archerus
As soon as Mordecai stepped into the smithy the master smith turned his way. A grin broke out upon the muscled creature's face and he stalked towards his fellow death knight.
"Mordecai! How long has it been!" Thick arms grabbed the other death knight by the shoulders. The human's height and tauren's slight hunch meant the horned humanoid needed to look up to meet Mordecai's eyes. Looking him p and down, the smith's face suddenly screwed into an expression of amazement. "By the Ashbringer, man! What happened to you?"
Mordecai responded by removing a damaged glove and holding it out for inspection.
The tauren stared at it for a moment, then abruptly guffawed. "Ah yes. Of course, of course." He took the gauntlet and began to inspect it. "Hmm...Not looking too good I'm afraid. But hey! That means you're using it right! Rot knows if you'd been wearing someone else's armour, you wouldn't be standing here today. Yes, yes," he forestalled, even though there was no words coming, "I can fix it. And the rest, but it'll take some time. Need to replace pieces, hammer out the others, and you need to see a fleshworker to get fixed up.
"Here," the tauren added with a beckoning motion, "I have a reserved set for you. Not as good as my last, but the one you're wearing was a work of art if I do say so myself. Oi! You lot!" This was addressed to the other blacksmiths. "Keep working! When I get back I want to see enough to arm all of Archerus again!"
With that the tauren lumbered towards the darkness of a corridor, Mordecai keeping pace behind him.
