No, just no.
The fact is, Worgens are humans; you know, the same people that the Horde want to kill on sight. Also, as they are Gilneans, they were one of the kingdoms who agreed with the plan to genocide the captured Orcs of Second War. And of course, Sylvanas the Banshee Queen killed the heir to the throne. As of one more thing; Bloodfang and his pack are the most feral and vicious Worgen on the planet and they only want to destroy any and all members of the Horde they come across for what was done to their homelands.

Then you haven't looked hard enough lol; a majority of the Dark Rangers are Undead Elves, just like Sylvanas. However, unless you are blind, deaf and unable to smell, you can always tell the difference between a Forsaken and a Human.
But the fact is, the Worgens are Gilneans first and foremost; the fact that a portion of the race are wolf men doesn't mean a thing to them and loyalty to their King/Alpha/Pack Leader is what is important....plus you know again, Sylvanas killed the son of the King.

Dwarves are short.
I want an undead werewolf. That would be f'n awesome. Maybe a little scraggly, and definitely a lot more smelly. But still awesome.
Make a Worgen Death Knight; there you go.

There are a couple of gnome undead (like 2?) in the forsaken starter zone and Undercity (not sure if that undercity gnome is there still, but there is a questgiver near the named gnoll mob-quest-thing that is a gnome). Not sure if those gnomes are undead for real or just alliance traitors though.
i definitively think a few Worgen could join the Horde, and betray the Alliance, maybe driven by greed or deranged ideals or something, that would be cool, but no player characters imo.

I actually think worgen are one of the two cool races Alliance got, with the other being dwarves. Everything else they have is pretty embarrassing.

If they ever introduced expanded character creation, they could include a "body types" option... so you could choose to be lean, muscular, skinny, and so on. I would also find it immensely original if the "body type" function for the
forsaken
actually had choices of various races corpses, so you could play an undead elf, human, or so.
Undead worgen though? No. The worgen form is just not their natural form. It feels like a weird idea.
And worgen do not belong to the horde! Booo!

If anyone agrees with this, please repost to Battlenet! I cannot for I am F2P. If you have any ideas for changes or additions, please add them here and there as well!
You are F2P....Until you cough up the money for the full game and monthly subscriptions keep your bad ideas to yourself please. I am really tired of all the F2P kids whining, moaning, and groaning or thinking they know better than the developers and long term players...
Just hush.

I don't think that it fits with the history thus far for Worgen to be part of the Horde as a people. They have no ties there- they have no common goals or enemies. In fact, their greatest enemy are the Forsaken. On the other hand, the Night Elves are the ones who gave them back the ability to appear as humans, and as a race of humans they are generally going to be more sympathetic to other humans than to Orcs.
The Forsaken were different- when they freed themselves, the humans still wanted to wipe them out because they were undead. That gave them a common enemy with the Horde, and made it logical for them to ally themselves that way. If, when they had broken free, humans had embraced them as the people of Lorderon, and accepted them even though they undead (as they later did with Death Knights), they would have had zero reason to go to the horde.
However, I think that individuals of any race might have personal motivations to turn traitor, even if as a nation or political entity the entire race wouldn't. I don't think it's appropriate at character creation, but an option in late game to do something to turn traitor might be fun. But that's something I'd like to see across the board. As it currently stands, Worgen have no more business being in the Horde than Trolls would being in the Alliance.

Yep, dwarves & worgen rock. Humans might be cool again when they get new models. They
do
still have the best PvP racial.
I could never make it through the Night Elf starting zone. They're more melodramatic than the Blood Elves.
Gnomes are funny, but that makes it hard to take them seriously at the end-game.
Draenai are not bad, actually, but I'm tired of them after levelling a mage and DK (wound up race-changing my mage to a panda).

This idea has been brought up many times and I love it.
The only problem I can see is doing it would unbalance so many servers are you are essentially talking about a free in game faction change.
On some servers like Area 52 Orgrimmar would have more Alliance races in it that the actual Alliance.
Depends on how much work it was.
I have talked about it in actual topic threads about the idea, but in EQ2, the way you changed factions was time consuming, tedious, and left you as kill-on-sight to both factions for a decent period of time before you can finally claim citizenship in an enemy city. You had to do some quest chain to become hated with your starting faction. Then there was a long, slow, tedious rep-grinding process to try and gain the trust of the other faction- at least to the point where they wouldn't murder you on sight. During that time, you couldn't use main cities- couldn't use their trainers, vendors, broker (AH), etc. I think they had a single neutral city that would give you some of the amenities, but the only people you could interact with would be people doing the same thing you were.
If they added it, and you knew the character would spend about a month or two not able to talk to, receive mail from or group with any other person, that they's be KoS for both factions, that they wouldn't have access to an AH other than the goblin one, etc., and that they had to do an ungodly amount of grinding, I think it would make it something that was available, but not abused.
