After the monsters cry the night elf looked back at it only to find it missing, and a new pool of blood, and her two comrades at the door.
"What was that creature." Said the elf sounding a bit scared.

Elwynn Forest
"Undead, of some sort," Gregg stated, "are you alright?"
Nimrod stared blankly at where the creature had been.

"Yea, i'm fine, but i'm more worried about the creature, there is no telling what harm it can inflict..." Said the night elf and noded to display that she was unharmed. "We should get Kalina, she needs to be informed of the change of events." She then added and began walking out of the room.

Vivica Black & Tristram Mahone
Elwynn Forest - Goldshire
"Thank you," Vivica murmured, coughing a bit and pulling back her healing. She was bleeding pretty heavily and was feeling sick from the efforts.
"Viv..." Tristram murmured, pulling her close. "We gotta get you to the medic."

Oliver Timbry
Duskwood
Oliver suddenly - and quite unexpectedly - found what he was looking for. Or perhaps it found him. More specifically his foot.
Because beneath a small but dense thorny bush, a wide pipe emerged from some underground facility. It was covered by a thin conical lid dotted with inch-wide holes through which a thin mist seeped.
Of this Oliver noticed little. He laid stretched out on the damp ground, face down and groaning.
Kalina Brayton
Goldshire
Luckily for Kalina the bullet, fired from such close range, had passed right through her arm. The nasty wound mostly stopped bleeding under the combined healing pressure from Vivica's spell and the paladin trainee's, and the makeshift bandage took care of the rest.
Still limp and only half conscious, she had lost a significant amount of blood. There was, however, no longer an immediate danger for her life.

Elsa Wolftongue
Duskwood
"Typical,"
Elsa muttered, hearing the groan; to say she was not particularly keen on helping the other human out was an understatement.
Nimrod Lightforge, Gregg
Elwynn Forest
Nimrod rushed down the stairs of the inn, the hooded man kicking and screaming as the dwarf continued to hold on to him.
Gregg turned and made his way over to the window, peering out through the shattered glass at the scene unfolding outside.
It was not good.
The monstrosity tore through the crowd, rending all who stood in its path. The apprentice paladin that had helped Vivica thrust his glowing polearm towards it, piercing its flesh and causing its putrid green blood to spurt out violently.
Within moments the paladin's screams were silenced as his whole body wilted away, starting from the places the blood had struck, leaving nothing but a pile of dead flesh and bones where he had stood.
The flesh beast paused to wolf down his remains, armour and all, temporarily ignoring the panicked crowd that was fleeing in all directions from it.

Peter hurried towards the betraying sound, finding Oliver lying one the ground. "Oliver? Are you alright? Any injuries, wounds, things worthy of medical attention?" the priest asked, kneeling by the other man.

Lyshalis hurried down the wooden stairs down to the lower area of the Lion's Pride Inn.
When the Kaldorei reached the dwarven paladin, she looked in horror as the monstrosity was devouring the husk of a dead paladin.
She shaked the shoulder of Nimrod with her hand. "What did you find out about that thing?" Said the rogue and then swallowed.

"Yeah, about that... uhh... it's made out of the bodies from that room.... and uhh..." Nimrod's face bunched up as he concentrated. "The box!" he exclaimed suddenly, realization dawning, "the shimmery box-thing, it was gone when the monster appeared, it made it!"
The hideous beast's head shot up as it heard the noise, giving Lyshallis and Nimrod a look that could only be described as a glare.

"So a box created the beast?" Lyshalis muttered to herself. "But i think that the monster is still hungry...Hungry for our flesh, bandu thoribas." The elf said then to the dwarf and drawing out her daggers, making her prepared to strike the foul creature down.

Oliver groaned just a little louder with a hint of a "no!" and slowly began pushing himself up from the ground.
Kalina Brayton
Goldshire
Kalina, still mostly knocked out, couldn't well flee from the beast like the crowd did. In fact she wasn't aware of the events outside of her own head.

"Leavehimalone!" Oliver hissed and spat, rolling over on his back in defense and crawling backwards. It took him a few sweating seconds to calm down, but when he had he nodded towards the metallic construction with what composure he could muster. "Found it."

Oliver climbed to his feet in his usual, rather leisurely manner and pulled his ragged hat firmly down onto his head. He shot Elsa a nervous glance as he stepped over to the pipe and kicked the lid away.

Though apprehensive now at drawing too close to Oliver, Peter shuffled over and peered down into the pit.

The walls of the pipe were corroded and uneven. Some seven or eight feet down was a grating through which a dim light shone, casting rays in the misty vapour ascending the vent. There was a sharp, sulfurous smell to the efflux which had gathered in intensity now that the lid was off.
Oliver too looked down into the rough pipe with an unconvinced look.

Duskwood
Elsa prodded Oliver in the back with her weapon. "Try that again and you'll be riddled with more holes than Alterac Swiss," she warned quietly, but with no less menace, so that only he could hear.
The young woman glanced from Oliver to the pipe, temporarily distracted, then back again...
Should she?
No, they still needed him, however tempting the thought was.
Nimrod Lightforge, Gregg
Elwynn Forest
The beast emitted a loud hissing sound, not unlike a train letting off steam, and proceeded to retch. After a few moments a slime covered, distinctly-human, arm fell free from its maw.
