Peter flinched at that.
"We...could ask when we get there. But if we can't find a Rat...Brother," Peter's face made it clear how much he thought the alleged man could help, "then try to help. Who knows? he seems to absorb Light," he pointed at Tabula. "Maybe she absorbs magic. Could give us an advantage. Or, even, a reason for Irene to come back."
It was a weak argument, and Peter's subdued and someone shaky voice displayed how much credence he had for it. But, at the same time, turning Tabula and this girl away when he had the power, or at leas the potential, to help did not sit right with him.

"At least, finally going to Stormwind," Peter whispered to Elsa as he lead the way back into the house proper.

The hill was steep, but hardly impassable, and Max soon managed to climb to the top. He paused, The mostly flat and golden fields of Westfall stretching out before him in all directions, marred occasionally by the speck of a farmhouse or some low hillock.
He squinted at the sky, trying to get oriented.

Peter lapsed into an uncomfortable silence. Being the leader was hardly what it had been cracked up to be. Juggling peoples personal desires, dealing with an increasing load of often heavy decision. And now, he had to decide what to do with their newest acquisition, while still hopefully keeping Elsa's valuable aid and companionship. He pressed a hand to his forehead, the low throb of a headache thudding through his brain.
Light how he missed the monastery.

Peter gave Tabula a strained smile. "Am fine. Just, somewhat distracted. Lots of...things, piling up. Little time. And, also," he looked to the ground, slowly leading them forward and back towards the jabbing presence of Sentinel Hill. "...worried, about Irene. Friend of mine. She...joined with some warlocks. Have been trying to find her. But, little luck. Want to try and save her, but don't really know how. Elsa," he nodded to the young woman gratefully, "reminded me that, time is a factor. So, hope can get some information about her from this Rat person, in Stormwind. But, also have to help you, so...trying time, right now," he told the youth. Peter sighed

Max pointed to the distant southern horizon. "Come on. The faster we get on the move, the sooner we arrive." Putting words to action, he set out at once at a brisk pace. His fairly boundless energy serving him well here.

Elsa continued to watch Tabula's every move, not even attempting to be discreet about it. Truth be told the amnesiac unnerved her and where she had come from, strange, unnerving people led very short lives indeed. Or had at least.

Kalina Brayton
Elwynn Forest
Kalina followed the dwarf and the gnome, saving her torch for later now that Nimrod provided illumination. She glanced to the bones littering the cave, wondering what manner of creature they had belonged to. She didn't have to wonder for long; she suddenly shivered noticeably, chills running down her spine when she discerned a human skull sitting in a corner.
Take yourself together,
she thought encouragingly, and to her own surprise it seemed to work. She hurried after the paladin further into the darkness.

Elwynn Forest
As they ventured deeper they started seeing more and more spiderwebs - they even came across one that stretched from one side of the cave to the other, glistening in the cool, damp air. "Don't look now Gregg, but I think there's a bear in this cave," commented Nimrod as they kept on going, causing the gnome to raise his eyebrows.
"A bear? Don't you mean a spider you moron?" Gregg retorted. "Nope, it's definitely a bear, I mean look at all the bones..." the dwarven paladin made a sweeping gesture. There were indeed a multitude of bones lying around, moreso than previous sections of the cave, some of them oddly bear-like in both shape and size.
Something shifted in the darkness above...

"Moonberries, you still with us?" Kalina wondered under her breath, glancing around at the massive cobwebs. "
What
could eat a bear?" she then asked the party in general in a casual manner, trying her best not to sound frightened in front of the others.

Nimrod scratched his chin in contemplation, "well that's easy - a bigger bear," he answered after several moments thought (or lack thereof).
Gregg simply facepalmed, "that or a really big spider," the gnome muttered, looking around warily.

Kalina shivered. With a touch of her index finger she sparked the torch. Glowing embers quickly turned to a bright, crackling flame, with which she explored the crannies of the cavern. She made the same mistake as the others, though: she didn't look up.

The night elf sneaked up behind the human and grabed her by the shoulders.
"BUU!" Lyshalis shouted at the human behind her.
"Don't be so scared by some skulls it probably only a duzen hatchlings and their broodmother." The elf said calmly as she slowly inspected the nearby cobweebs, and in the procces not looking up, not even once.

Kalina twirled around on her heel, swooping the torch just a hand's breadth from Lyshalis' face. "It's not funny," she said bitterly. "Because you're probably right."

"Yes..." Peter looked forward, the gryphon roost coming into view. "...Hopefully."
"Oho!" the flight master remarked. He abandoned his station of leaning against one of the nests to face the approaching trio. "Finally decide to actually take a bird this time?"

It was fortunate the main road wasn't far from the beach. They merely needed to head to the closest farmstead. Once they sufficiently avoided the deceptive machinations of harvest reapers who inhabited the fields, they found the hard dirt path easily enough.
The trail wound through the somewhat uneven plains of Westfall well. But the stabbing silhouette of sentinel hill gave Max pause. As it loomed increasingly close, he glanced to the side where the road proper abandoned itself to the sun blasted grass of the fields.
Maximilian's lip curled slightly. "Ehhh...come on. We'll skirt the hill." He gestured for the others, making for the unbroken ground. A pond visible in the distance.

The youth did not look behind to address the undead, preferring to keep his eyes forward. He held up a finger pointedly. "At the moment, we're going to see my master. Razzamtaz," Max replied. "He should be able to put us on the right track. He'll also get a chance to get a look at you three."
