The DOOM!PIG oinked in what was presumably annoyance, though the precise nature of the expression was up to interpretation until an interpreter arrived, at which point it was moot. But as it was, the intent behind the oink was irrelevant to the current situation as the pig turned, floating ponderously after the mercenary, beams of red tracing his tail like a bloodhound in chase.
"Come on! Pull! Grghhhhhha!" Both siblings fell back as the pole came free with a rattle of metal and cast off stone. With a clang, the hammer of Quasiglobal banged on the ground, a low surge of electricity crawling about its rune encrusted face.

"Now that we've covered that," Zach said, leaning on the table. "What is our next move? We have our awesome artifact list, but do we fall for what could be an obvious trap... but that could lead to awesome stuff?"
"..." Serenade buried his face in his arms. "This cannot be real."

"That seems sort of... disconcerting," Funden remarked. "I tend not to trust those that talk to themselves. Mutter, sure, but talking is another matter."

"I have an acquaintance that might be able to help," January said with a shrug. "She might be somewhat... difficult to persuade, however. She's not exactly my greatest fan.
Otherwise, however, it might be a better idea to strike a closer target. Perhaps the Peak? A more defensible position would be ideal."

"How is that plan new?" Victor called vexedly while topping up his magazine. The Tol'vir wheeled around, but he judged he had a clear shot on the one currently blade-locked with Pak'hon.
His rifle cracked twice in series, two bullets seeking their way to the target. The short distance and stressed situation took the edge of the marksman's perfect aim, so he instead adhered to rule number two.
Double tap.

"Numbers..."
Vahij murmured, thinking. The succubus had a reasonable grasp of strategy, largely due to having taken part in various campaigns herself, even if it was mostly from a following orders point of view. "How many of them were there and what'd they fight you with?" she asked Victoria.

"There was a dwarf, I think he manipulates sound somehow," Isaac told the succubus, recalling his interrogation session, "Then a night elf with a hippogryph - but those I think we put out of the picture for awhile, - a human swordsman - an exceptional swordsman, may I add - and a blood elf who shoots lightning from his hands."
Vincent harrumphed irritably, pulling out a flat plastic container. He opened it, producing a gray horseshoe mustache, a pair of green lenses and a red bandana. The swordsman pulled his long, graying blonde hair into a ponytail, then wrapped the bandana around his head. After that he inserted the lenses into his eyes and attached the mustache to his upper lip.
"Well now," Vincent said, enjoying himself - in a voice that was obviously not his own, lower than his baritone by at least an octave. As he spoke, wrinkles appeared around his eyes, completing the disguise.
"I never said these are ordinary fake mustache and lenses, did I?" the human chuckled.

"As for your acquaintance," he paused, then ventured, "Is she a part of the Society as well?"

The pig continued after the mercenary, pausing beneath the mercenary. "Wheeeeeeeee," Byte squealed from the pocket. "We're flying!" The DOOM!PIG began to roll back in search of where the voice came from.
"Okay, you wearing your rubber shoes right? Okay," Leo said once his sister nodded, the youth taking a wide stance and holding his hands out. The coils on his back sparked and hummed in ready power. "Hit me!"
Sindry grunted, holding the hammers handle, head still on the ground. "This thing weighs a ton. I can't hit you very hard," she said sadly.
"A tap'd do."
"I know."
Leo cast a glare her way before looking forward again. "Just do it!" His sister grunted, levering the hammer up. She swung, striking the device on her brothers back like an anvil. The clang seemed to echo through the chamber, followed by a low thrum of growing power.
"Hooooooollllly ffffeeeeeelllll," Leo hummed as his whole body thrummed with power; form blurring and eclipsed with shadows as blue bolts of electricity sparked all round him, rolling from where the hammer met pack. Sindry had to let go of the hammer, shielding her eyes with her arm and turning away. The hammer remained standing, as if welded to the pack by the charge.

The large chamber the dwarf led them into sported a number of crates scattered about. The doctor smiled when several of them shrieked and shook, feather flying form between the bars and considerably startling their dwarven bearers. Someone passed a clipboard to the octogenarian, who scanned it and nodded, signing and handing it back to be spirited away to that magical realm paperwork did reside for those who cared not for it.
He snapped back to attention when the dwarf brought him before a massive metal door. Arthenvold grinned, grabbing a control hanging from the ceiling, a wire running to the door.
"And here, is my gift to you. In grat-a-tude fer what ya been doin' 'ere for us." The dwarf's thumb pressed upon the button. With a rumble and groan, the metal door began to slide up, rolling back up slowly.
A pair of glowing red eyes stared back at the doctor's lensed goggles. A smile split the old man's face.
"Oh fel yes."

"Get yer hands offa me!"
The cry came from a curious scene, to be sure. The speaker was an older man with a thick and grizzled -- though admittedly short -- black beard. He wore a blue, double breasted pea coat and brimmed hat emblazoned with a pair of silver wings. One of his eyes was not missing, but wasnot there either. It was held in place by a glass and copper eyepiece, riveted to his face like a monocle or spyglass, where the eye would roll around like a ball. His clothes were somewhat frayed and worn, giving him an unkempt and somewhat ratty appearance. No doubt this was in part why the two guards were in the process of ejecting him from a large building labelled "Royal Ironforge Port Authorities'.
"That's my ship! I know it! I'd never ferget it! Let me back in there! Vandals! Pirates! Mutineers! Land lovers!"
The two guards, with admirable self control, restricted themselves to tossing the unfortunate man out and onto the curb. The furious man hit the ground heavily, grunting in pain as the two dwarves turned their backs on him, and re-entered the authority.
"I'll have ye hang fer this!" The man cried, shaking hsi fist from hsi sitting position at the retreating men.

But they insist it ain't! But I've seen 'er. She was supposed ta been taken down by a storm. All hands abandoned. So imagine my surprise when I see it in the shippin' dock!" The man slammed a fist into the brick wall, to no noticeable effect.

"Don't you have any papers or anything that proves it's yours?" He asked. "But if you had everyone abandon ship in the middle of a storm then the chances of it surviving are slim to none. Even less if it was a zepplin or air ship. And even if it did survive by some stroke of luck the chances of it being sea worthy and being found by the alliance and them returning it to exactly the same as it was before those numbers are near unimaginable." He added.
