"You don't say?" Aewen deadpanned.
Turin let out a low growl, setting the letter aflame with the Light and watching it burn on his palm.
"Say it to my face, she-dog," he snarled.

Location: Storm Peaks
"Well, I was referring to the fact that I'm up to my neck in snow, but if that's what it takes for you to carry me, sure, lets go with that..." Nexus replied.
Character: Kef
Location: Stormwind
"Hold still," Kef murmured, "this might hurt a bit..."
With that, she held his foot in place and began splinting it, while simultaneously weaving the healing power of the spirits in his ligaments. She made sure not to heal it completely--that would be too obvious--but enough to ease the pain and make his recovery particularly speedy.
Character: Randolph Howard
Location: Andorhal
Description:
Howard is an archeologist, yet unnoticed by the scientific community, but he believes himself to be on the brink of a discovery that will change all that. He is of slight build, with a head of short brown hair and slate grey eyes. He knows a little of magic, but not much. His clothing is very practical.
Randolph wandered the lonely streets of Andorhal, avoiding the fee others who passed by. The city was no longer a haven for living corpses, but it seldom felt welcoming, either. The farmers preferred to sick to their own land when not going to market, and even as long as it had been since the dead last walked here, the atmosphere seemed chilly somehow.
He'd have rather stayed away from this place altogether, but he had business to attend to. He had been corresponding with his friend and colleague, Dr. Arthur Hamil, when he suddenly vanished. With the Stratholme and Gilneas in the states they were, it was unlikely that any would be looking for him, so Randolph had taken it upon himself to find what befell his friend, and locate him, alive our otherwise.
His only clue was the last letter he'd received. He glanced down at it again.

"Ummm..." Leo began uncertainly.
"What happened to being an upstanding citizen?" Sindry asked ironically.
Leo shot the girl a glare, but aftera moment of her ignoring it, sighed and crouched down in the snow all the same. "Come on, then."

Character:
Leo Prometheus, Sindry, Byte
Location:
Open Sky
Leo oofed beneath the added weight, but adjusted to it easily enough and arose all the same from his crouch. "Yay!" Byte cheered from his masters shoulder, rolling around happily. "Company!"
With that, the group trundled through the snow, towards the distant glow of civilization.
It took nearly two hours of steady walking to reach the city's gates, great foreboding things of typical goblin design. Namely, sporting a great many things which could kill you. The bruisers were, nevertheless, fairly polite (though it took Leo's assurance they were here on business, as well as the display of the weight of his coinpurse before it) and were led genially inside, one of the bruisers even being so kind as to provide directions to the inn for the group.
Fortunate that he did, for K3 was far from the camp it once was. Buildings rose pellmell all around them. Wood, cement, steel, all hashed together, many having the appearance as if they would fall down at the slightest provocation! The snow was nearly black, turned by the ash of hundreds of chimneys and machinery. Even in so late an hour, people wandered about the streets of the tavern district, filling the bars and pubs and if they were thrown out of one, they needed only to cross the street to find another.
Their group hardly drew much notice. The strange, deranged, and drunken that typically are attracted to the perceived freedom of the frontier town kept them safe from undue scrutiny with their own strange attire. In truth, a kodo in a tutu would have appeared natural in such a crowd. Bruisers wandered about always, clubs in hand and drumming a warning beat upon large, calloused green palms. Wherever these goblins went, crowds parted.
Soon enough, Leo had grown desperate for the reprieve of their inn. Even Sindry growing more agitated, glaring at everyone and the sound of her grinding teeth filling the air menacingly. Thus, when they at last found their inn, the image of a mammoth comically inflated with a stick of dynamite in its mouth marking it, Leo gratefully threw open the door with a gust of cold wind and snow to the nearly empty common room.
"Ah, master Leo, miss Sindry," Edmund noted , rising from his chair. "You have arrived. Though, a bit late I might add. Trouble on the way here?"

Letter from Dr.Arthur K. Hamill
Location
: Andorhal
My dear Randolph,
It feels so good to be able to write to you once more. At times, I felt as if my work upon that Island would never end. I only wish I could share with you some of the marvels I had seen, but I was sworn to secrecy, sad to say. Perhpas when we meet next we may converse mroe openly than in print. It is only now that I am away from there I can even send letters such as these, after all.
Nevertheless, I have stumbled upon a gift indeed. My employer, Dr.Prometheus - a somewhat odd and, I dare say, intense fellow - has requested for me to leave to new Lordaeron to hunt down some old and valuable books for him. I must confess, I do appreciate the break, and when he described these books I confess a touch of trepidation. But far more of excitement! As the results of some of my recent work was not as expected, to say the least, and a Dr.Simon has been quite hostile, I am pleased to focus on another task. I may even come upon some revelations regarding my own work in the process.
But I digress, and Andorhal is quite lovely this time of year. The streets are beautiful cobble stone things, freshly laid even, and the clean air brushes through the window as I write, carried on a calming breeze. One would have no idea this land was once held by the vile Scourge, such a word I have noted never being spoken by the new residences here. I'm staying at an inn called the
Silver Paladin
, a quaint little place run by a lovely couple. Their daughter particularly so. I think you would like it, and highly recommend it should you ever visit. Young miss Carter has been quite kind to me, and very indulgent in answering my questions about the neighborhood, particularly the Academy, once the dreaded Scholomance.
I have high hopes on this trip, and intend to write to you as soon as there is news of wither good or ill. I tell you, it would be nice to see a friendly face after so long away.
Hope this finds you well,
Dr.Arthur K. Hamill

Loki, Karen
Ironforge
Loki looked over the screen he was working on when he heard the door open. "Hey Loki we have a customer here and they want a robot built." A gnome said stepping inside.
"I'm kinda busy can't you handle it?" Loki asked.
"Who is it?" Karen asked hanging up the phone.
"It's Calin and she specifically asked for you Loki." The gnome said.
"What? Why is my sister here?" He asked and the gnome shrugged.
"To be honest I didn't want to stay around long enough to ask." He said before turning and walking off.
"I thought Calin hated bots." Karen said standing up as Loki let the screens vanished.
"I thought so to." He said as the two of them walked out of the room.

Loki, Karen
Ironforge
The two walked threw the shop till they found the meeting room and walked in seeing Calin sitting in one of the chairs at the far end of the table. "Hello Loki." She said in a calm voice.
"Hi Calin. I heard you wanted me to build you a robot." He said as he and Karen sat down.
"Correct. I can't really summon to many demons and thought that a robot would be better suited. You know what with it not being able to kill me in my sleep." She said.
"Ooookay." Karen said and with a flick of her wrist she created a clipboard and pen in her hand.
"What do you want it to do?" Loki asked leaning back in his chair.
"I want it to be like Depthcharge and Mr. Wibbles." She said.
"So you want it to fight? What exactly?" Loki asked.
"Whatever one might expect out in this harsh world." She replied.

Sashastrasza, Alana
Gilneas City
Alana dropped down quickly; splashing into the water without so much as pause.
Sasha bit her lip for a second, looking at her dress before plugging her nose. "Three... two..." She counted, closing her eyes and dropping down after the others.
Coldpelt Iceheart
Stormwind City
Coldpelt shrugged, hitting the button on the elevator and watching the doors close.
Ferin Hopewell
Thousand Needles
Ferin shrugged and followed quickly.
Specter
Tanaris
"Need some help?" Specter asked Varima as he slipped out of the GP himself. His tone was an odd combination of mocking, and a genuine offer.
Dorithel Saberglow, Taliria Blindhawk
Darnassus
The Night Elf who paced the training ground was clearly large, muscled and well-built, with long green hair which flowed down past his neck. Thick plate armor covered most of his body, covered in elven designs. A large tower shield rested on the back of one of the Blade's founding members, his warglaive held in his hand.
In short, the Blades of Elune could be called Paladins, and had taken some inspiration from other's who called themselves such. The order itself, however, had been founded before the Night Elves had met with such people. A sect of Elves whom had taken up the armor of warriors, and wielded the light of Elune against their foes.
With the breaking away of more technological-minded and generally younger Night Elves, the Blades had nearly considered leaving as well. They had always been at a certain rivalry with the Sentinals, and usually disliked for their unorthadox methods. In the end, however, the general stubborness that most of the founders shares had won out and they had remained.
Members had been paired off, based on skill and specialization, and set to battle for training. The exercise was mostly for warm-ups, but Dorithel took it just as seriously as he took anything else. The large Elf was not one for talking, almost never saying more than a sentance at a time, if that. However, that did not stop him from being an imposing force, and arguably the best of the leaders when it came to getting the initiates at attention.
Along the edges of the area were initiates that had either finished their warm-ups, or were waiting for space. One such was Taliria Blindhawk; a younger Elven girl with a slender figure and long hair the fell back in a ponytail. She sighed, leaning backwards over a bench and stretching as she watched the sky.
It hadn't even been two days, but she found herself hoping to see a bird come swooping down; letter in ha-er-talon.

Loki, Karen, Calin
Ironforge
"You know that making one of these bots isn't cheap by any standards." Loki said as Karen crunched the numbers.
"You mean I don't get a discount cause I'm family?" She asked trying to sound sincere.
"No." Karen interjected before Loki could respond.
"Fine." She said reaching down and pulling out a bag off gems and slid them across the table towards the two.
"What the fel." Loki said picking up the bag and looking threw them. "How did you get these?" He asked.
"I've been selling potions that I make." She said with a smile.
"Dam those must be some good potions." Karen said looking over.
"They are. The rich just love them." Calin said nodding. "They can change your hair color and a bunch of other stuff. It's really hard to get all the ingredients and make it so they aren't cheap." She added.

Character:
Johann Augustus, Accru'al
Location:
Aurius Forest (formerly Plaguewood)
"Aw come on, I'm a master comforter!" Johann called, moving to follow the mage. He paused abruptly, the dull roar of engines catching his ear. The warlock slowly turned his head, eyes narrowing at the path they had come along. Quickly, he quickly followed Naia into the tunnel.
Character:
Dr. Prometheus Sr., Pyre
Location:
Gilneas, over Chapelwith
Gilneans gathered in the fields of the Rothdale farm, drawn to the spotlights of the airship as it landed like moths to the flame. Nearly the whole of the community gathered as a ramp began to lower, the blinding light from within casting a silhouette of several men upon the grassy fields.
"Greeting, citizens of Chapelwith," the doctor began, slowly descending the ramp with arms wide and inviting, dials upon his great gauntlets aglow with their own light. "Who amongst you is the leader?"
A hesitant hubbub enveloped the crowd, a large gentleman wearing a hat and bearing a cane of office stepping forth. "I am the mayor, yes. Did you, perchance, bring news from the capitol?" he asked hesitantly, unsure of what such a thing entailed.
The doctor smiled reassuringly. "Why yes. Yes I have. I'm afraid an emergency has befallen the nation. We," he continued, directing a gesture towards the ramp where soldiers dressed in the sweeping hats and large eyed masks had begun to descend, "have come to take you all to a more secure location."
A murmur swept through the crowd, the mayor coughing nervously. "This...is highly irregular."
"We live in highly irregular times, mayor," the silver haired man interrupted, stepping forward. "Technology and magic are down across the country. Now is the perfect time for our enemies to strike. We're evacuating all nearby towns to safer locations in the ensuing emergency. But we have not much time. So please," the doctor said with an inviting gesture and smile, "shepherd your flock from the wolf in sheep's clothing."

Loki, Karen, Calin
Ironforge
"So how long is this going to take?" Calin asked as Loki and Karen talked between the two.
"It might take a couple days. We have most of the parts but the armor will take some time to forge." Loki said turning to Calin.
"A couple days? I can't wait that long." She said standing up. "Isn't there anything you can do." She asked.
"We could let her use Mr. Wibbles. The bot is already programed to listen to her." Karen suggested.
"What! That's my robot. I spent forever making him and you just want to give him away like he's nothing." Loki said waving his arms around. "I just can't give him away. He's like the brother I never had."
"Wow." Calin and Karen said together. "It's a robot. Just a pile of metal and magic." Karen said.
"And it's not like he's going to some stranger." Calin said. "I'll take good care of him." She reassured him.
Loki grumbled and crossed his arms as he thought it over. "Fine. Let's go get him." He said standing up and walking out of the room.

Kiran Hartford, Koran Lighthammer, The Pack, the Trio
Capitol City, Gilneas
"I have to agree with Vrell." Karkov said over his shoulder. "Orcs should not be able to imitate Worgen in that manner." He grumbled, as the scent of blood hit him and Kiran.
"Well that's not promising." Kiran said darkly, as they checked the lower level of the house. They found the servants all in their beds...and none of them were alive, all seeming to have died in their sleep.
"How?" Karkov asked and Kiran shook his head as he pointed at small marks on exposed areas.
"Poison; Slayer makes his own." He answered shortly, as they headed up the stairs.
Koran looked at Hazel, but said nothing as they followed the worgen pair. Lobo and Sirius were moving cautiously as they approached the home of the senator, the worgen druid able to shift to his cat form while Lobo drew one of his swords. The house looked quiet, but as they got closer, they saw the door was hanging crookedly. "Think whoever did that is still here?" Lobo asked Koran who shrugged.
