QOTD #113 : If a 20 year older version of you, with long scraggly dirty hair, several scars, faded ragged camoflauge clothing, combat boots, and armed to the teeth burst into the room, firing several rounds from a shotgun into the open air, revealing cloaked enemies, whos corpses now litter the floor, and then screams at you "THERE'S NO TIME! EAT THIS DUCK!" and then tosses you a living mallard duck.... what would you do?

Wonder why you are asking questions in someone else's thread.

Wonder why you are asking questions in someone else's thread.
Looks like someone can no longer ask any questions in Recycle Bin.
Did I win?
Seriously, it just a joke.
No, I don't want to be permanently unemployed. I enjoy working to bring home the bacon. It makes me feel... uhm... responsible and productive.

Only if I was financially stable. And even then I'd probably have a part time job.

No, I don't think so. Since I currently get paid for swimming, I'd have to give up the thing my life has revolved around for the last few years, and there's no way I'd do that. I just wouldn't know what to do with my time.
On the other hand, if I could swim anyway, I probably would. I still have to work part-time because swimming doesn't quite pay enough. If I could remove that part-time job and still have no financial issues, I definetly would.

#113- Hos do you sleep? On your back, side, stomach? Do you need absolute silence, or do you need white noise? Are you a blanket hog? Do you snore?

Generally I sleep naked (you're welcome for the mental image).
In winter I usually lay on my right side, legs curled up with my arms folded across my chest. I keep the door to my balcony open but keep the door to the rest of the house closed. I use just a sheet; on cooler nights I either grab a blanket or shut the door to the balcony, but even in winter cool nights are few and far between.
In summer I often lay on my stomach with my head twisted to the left (so I'm laying on the right side of my head), my arms crossed something like
this
underneath my pillow, and my legs wide in a kind of starfish posiiton, with no sheet and the ceiling fan on.
I snore.
Very
loudly. (Although not as bad as I used to in my heavy drinking days). People can generally hear me 2 rooms away.
Noise doesn't concern me, I have slept through house parties before. My road is quite busy and has heavy traffic from 5am-9pm but the traffic never wakes me up.

Yeah I find traffic noise to be kinda soothing.

I usually end up on my stomach.
If I'm feeling good, I prefer silence. But if I'm sick or upset or whatever, I end up needing music to fall asleep.
And my dog sleeps on my bed with me. So no, I don't have any blankets left by morning...

I thought this was going to be a depressing question.
Usually on my side, sometimes on my back. A little white noise is okay, I live in New York, but I prefer silence, and non-white noise is awful. I #$%^ING ABHOR AND DETEST SNORING. HOW IS A LOUD NOISE YOU EMIT WHILE SLEEPING HELPLESSLY TO ATTRACT PREDATORS THAT IS ALSO UNATTRACTIVE TO MATES EVEN EVOLUTIONARILY VIABLE? 9IFDKSLAMNWOS;FK LDWJ0[F
/end rant
Also, I'm very light sensitive. I need as close as possible to complete darkness to fall asleep easily.

I'm usually on my back, and I fall asleep while listening to music. I have to make sure I'm not laying on my earbuds in the morning.

I don't have many sleep requirements. I can sleep however, whenever. I do appreciate some music when falling asleep, but it's no requirement. On my back, on my stomach, sitting up, on my side - @#$% if I care
:D
I don't mind light, and I don't mind complete darkness, either.. I kind of like traffic noise, but I'm not really used to it - where I live, there isn't exactly a lot of traffic - so my sleep has never been disturbed by it.

Lie and turn around for about 2 hours, usually fall asleep on my back. Nothing can wake me up after I've gotten to sleep though.

I can relate to this. Well, nothing except vacuum cleaning.
