I guess I played WoW too for a little bit.

Didn't watch it. It's not a thing here.
I wouldn't watch the Premier League or Champion's League football finals either. I watch some cricket if it ever gets on terrestrial TV.
I don't play WoW at the moment but I was probably chasing high scores in Orcs Must Die! 2 - I've got into the top ten on a few of the levels.
I disagree with Izichial though. One can participate in a question like this when one isn't a participant in the activity around which the question revolves. Giving the perspective of one who is not involved is also an interesting point of view, no?
I'm atheistic (or broadly anti-theistic) but I can give an interesting perspective on religion. I'm married but can give my opinion on other relationship types. I say, Elhonna, don't limit your questions to only the most broad-based. Get specific! Maybe people will have to google something just to understand the question but an occasional one like that (maybe not all of them) can't be a bad thing and may broaden horizons if nothing else.(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

You could ask questions about ... objects. Like uh. .. Do you use coasters?
I didn't, as a rebellious punk of a gross teenager. .. My husband made me use them, now its habit.

Tomorrows question is totally about coasters =D(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##ElhonnaDS##DELIM##

When all else fails, just ask how many uses you can think of for a cardboard box. And duct tape.
SPECIALLY
duct tape.
They are good for everything.

hehehe, I didn't used them as a teen either, then my wife
tamed me
forced me to reach a compromise. I wouldn't use a coaster, but I'd always place a napkin below at all times.

Hmm, I was never tamed by my partner but you only need to ruin one table surface (of a table you own yourself) before you rethink your cup-placing strategy.

Since we're already fielding both questions...

I just never really saw the point, almost none of my tables are made of wood, and glass surfaces can be easily wiped with the sleeve of my shirt xD.
In my defense, I've used CD cases as coasters if I'm drinking anything in front of my PC (which isn't so often)
And the tame part was a mild joke :P In my little castle, I'M THE KING!

I do, in fact, use coasters. Blech, I don't want to ruin a table because I'm too lazy to walk two feet to pick one up.

Orcs Must Die <3
Have you played the first one? If so, I need a hint on one of the levels. It's kicking my butt.

Coasters are for lady boys and womens...real men don't have tables they cant leave their nice cold beer sitting on for being afraid of a little water ring.

@Benzene, I only found out about it after the second game came out. It includes a bunch of levels from the first so I might have played the levels but I dunno. It's such an amazing game, I'm on 138 hours according to Steam and all for £10. The second game adds co-op which is a wonderful addition.
@lonewolfe, Caring for one's possessions isn't a feminine (or transgender - a particularly odd supposition!) trait. I have a nice coffee table that was hand crafted by my brother. It's a nice item and I'd rather it stayed that way. I certainly don't intend to see it spoiled due to bullish machismo or wilful belligerence.(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##asakawa##DELIM##

I completely agree, but all of my tables are glass or plastic, so the worst consequence of not using a coaster is an easy-to-clean stain.
The only table that could be ruined if I didn't used a coaster is my PC table, if I remember to bring a coaster with me, I use it, if i don't I just use one of the many CD cases that are littered all around my pc :P
Of course my wife always reminds me to use a napkin even when on the other tables, because she always wants to make our apartment look pristine.

All my tables are made of wood, with some expensive staining, so I'd rather not ruin that.

Aww. I need to get the second one sometime. I hear it's better than the first in some ways.

I'm not a coaster user, unless someone requests me to use one.

I never knew the subject of coasters was so divisive.

I know, right? I personally don't use them, but all my surfaces are always old or glass. Also, in my defense, I don't ice drinks at all. Often I won't even put my soda in the fridge. So rarely will I have a glass of anything that will sweat anyway.

Hey, Coasters are Serious Business.
I know, right? I personally don't use them, but all my surfaces are always old or glass.
Exactly. On all my tables, the worst that could happen if I don't use one, is a very easy-to-clean stain.

o_O YUCK, how can you stand to drink anything that's not cold? The only drink I ever have that is not ice-cold is coffee and my wife's tea. Everything else has to be very cold, or it wont quench my thirst at all.
To even think of drinking warm or room-temp soda........... /shudder.

So, to jump back to the Super Bowl; apparently one of the Ram commercials offended an Atheist....and I was lucky enough to get to take his call. I am really tempted to post what happened today on notalwaysright.
