QOTD Thread #332- Do you think that people should keep cats outdoors?

Yeah, but usually only if I'm inescapably bored and I've done all the homework I can do without my laptop (I don't take it to school with me).

On my previous job at the bank? nope. It was a stiff work environment, where any sort of fun, or happy thoughts had to be repressed and eliminated. A cristal/steel graveyard for the modern office drone.
On my new job? way more relaxed. Boss is a complete A-hole, an animal really, but other than him, I get along peachy with the rest of the staff, and we goof around aplenty.

At school it's pretty much a given for anyone who's not Asian.

Goof off as being lazy. Then yes. But to be a clown. Probably not

Goof off at work? Perish the thought!
Posting this while on second shift on the phones ;)
Here at the office I am limited by the proxy Nazis as to what I can do, but when I can work out of the house, sky is the limit seeing that my system and the work laptop are on a KVM switch. I have had MANY deaths in WOW when a call comes in and I was in a place where I could be killed.

At school? Depends on the class.
At work? Not really. I want to finish my job as quickly as possible.

Yes. In one of my classes, as long as I show up for a two hour broadcasting session after school each week, I get an A, regardless of what I actually do in the class.
So I've been playing Slender, Bastion and watching Marble Hornets recently. Carrying around your own server is handy for getting past the school filters... >.>

#277- If you had to pick 5 species to survive a global extinction, what species would you choose. We'll establish that plant life would be unaffected, and a single, currently non-existent insect would spring up to keep them pollinated and keep them reproducing. Viruses and bacteria would also be unaffected.

roaches
birds
worms
bees
we'll show up in a few million years eventually..
or

I assume that fungi are also unaffected, and that plankton, cruatacea, and molluscs count as insects? Doesn't sound much like a global extinction, but supposing we choose vertebrates: I'd want a marine ecosystem. 3 little fish, one medium fish, and one top predator. That's where everything came from. A few hundred million years, who'd notice the difference?
My first post went into more detail. It said that there was a single surviving insect species, currently nonexistent, to guarantee plant reproduction and continued oxygen. So no- all of the crustaceans, mollusks, and non-imaginary insects would be dead. Plankton that was bacterial or plant-like in nature would survive, and I'll extend that to any single-celled organism just to be sure. Since I didn't address Fungus, we'll say it survives. But other than that, it is a global extinction- not just vertebrates.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##ElhonnaDS##DELIM##

Not human.
Did I mention how much I dislike humanity? I'm sure evolution will sort things out. I don't really care about saving specific species.

Humans can go extinct - we have ruined the Earth enough as it is. It needs a fresh start.
As for those who survive? Bees, apes, wolves, bison, and giant squid.

None of the primate species would survive if I had a choice.
As for a choice:
Wolves
Elk
Polar Bears
Tigers
Bisons

Cats
Humans
...Women
Chickens
Horses
Had to be said lol. For a serious face answer, replace "women" with... mmm... sheep.

276. Not where I volunteer. I've eaten there once (manager who was fired sent in cake and sandwiches and the manager who wasn't brought them back to me and made me eat a slice of cake and some sandwiches) and I take toilet breaks, but that's it. I don't mind working in silence, but I'll talk while working and joke about with my manager sometimes.
Sit by myself in lectures, but when I sat next to my friends in first year we'd just end up speaking about WoW throughout the entire lecture unless the lecturer explicitly told the lecture hall to be quiet.
277. Interest's answer works for me. Five different species of bat.
Ed: Oh, to follow on from what I said about finding it easy to lose weight, I've already lost my Christmas break weight. Woo.
