#225- Why is morality important? Is it just for logistical reasons- to make society function better and assure safety through cooperation? Or is it something more?
Because society would cease to function otherwise, imagine if a vast majority of people ( i stress this part i understand some people have these mindsets but they as far as i am aware are in the minority) killed each other on a whim, or decided to steal from each other, or that rape is acceptable or do not help the poor. Society would probably fall apart.

Morality is what keeps society in balance. Without it, there would be too much chaos and disregard for humanity that it would cease to exist.

The logistical reasons are real but there are also beneficial effects on the practitioner.
I agree with this moreso than it being only a societal function. Keeping with one's own morality, provided that that moral compass is somewhere in the realm of normal, can make you feel better about yourself and your circumstances. That is just as much a necessary function of morality as keeping society in check.

#226- What is your favorite type of weather?
Warm, sunny days with blue skies and big, fluffy clouds. Late spring/early summer. The kind of day that isn't so hot that you don't want to go outside, but isn't chilly enough to warrant a jacket. And cool, cloudless nights, where you can see all of the stars.

I like rainy days. I find the weather relaxing and, for the lack of a better word, "cozy". I like water too, of course - and then there is the part about people not forcing me to go outside when it's raining

225. I don't think I can answer this in a non-redundant way. For me, morality is the greatest good for the greatest number: so, how would I attempt to operationalise "good"? Using a self-report of positive emotions and a self-report of negative emotions. Why is it important to feel good and not bad? I can't answer that.
226. Actually, I quite like oppressive heat when I'm in the comfort of my own room. For some reason it didn't bother me and I'd keep my duvet on and use my wireless keyboard, but my family members and neighbour (the only people that would regularly pop into my room) would start sweating and wouldn't stay in my room for more than a few minutes.

Gloomy, lazy, rainy days. The kind where you don't shower all day and sit around and play video games, watch movies, and nap.
Also: blizzardy days. I love blizzards.

I like a light rainy day. Overcast or moderately cloudy days are fine too.

Stormy weather but only when I can actually sit and watch it.

I love thunderstorms and blizzards if I can stay inside. Heavy snowfall but light winds is fine for being outside in, as long as the temperature is cold (because slush isn't fun). Though when I lived in Helsinki a lot of years ago I'd also go out running in the middle of the thunderstorms as long as it was still fairly warm (>10-15C).

Anything goes as long it's not cold and wet. My favourite would be like ~30 celsius and a clear, sunny sky. Sadly, there are only few days like that in a year here in the North.
