I prefer winter too. I'd rather be cold than hot, I like using a lot of blankets and my job just tells us to stay home when the roads are really bad.

Winter. I can wear my coats and I love the leafless trees and the cloudy skies.

#203- Do you prefer summer or winter, and why?
Winter and because I love to ski. I could never live in California, Hawaii or anywhere else that had more warmer days than cold.

I like both but if I had to make the choice I would have to plump for winter as at least then I can be snug and warm inside in front of a roaring log fire.

I'm torn.
Summer, because after 18 years of some of the harshest winters in Alaska, I'm just tired of being cold. Plus, the only really fun things to do during the winter require you to have a good bit of cash to plunk down, or an adventurous/ballsy spirit willing to spend some time in the hospital.
But on the other hand...
Winter, because you can always put on another piece of clothing. You can't always
take something off

How many abodes? No idea. 40-50 maybe.
As for the actual places:
-Sydney 1990-1994
-Canberra 1994-1995
-Central Coast (kind of Sydney, kind of not) 1995-2011
-Geelong 2011
-Melbourne 2011
-Brisbane 2011-2012
-Hamilton Island 2012
-? 2013
So 7 distinct areas so far. This doesn't count places that I stayed at on a temporary basis for work reasons while still maintaining a permanent address on the Central Coast.

The first house I lived in from the time I was born.
The house my family moved into when I was 5, until I turned 18.
My older sister's house when I turned 18, until I turned 21.
Moved back in with the parents for a few months.
My shared apartment with my twin sister and her boyfriend when I was 22, until I moved into my own.
My own apartment when I was 22, until I was 23 and got laid off last Novemeber.
Back with the parents for the past 11 months.
So, 5 different places all-in-all, but I've moved 7 times if you include coming home from the hospital after I was born.

Five I think, in two different areas.

I've lived in the same town my whole life.
The house I grew up in.
One upscale apartment
One downscale apartment
My BFF's house.
Back to the downscale apartment.
Now with the boyfriend.
So 5.

If I don't count all the different ships that I have worked on then mine is nine.
If I have to count all the ship's I'll have to get back to you on that one.
