I started out playing melee DPS, then switched to ranged DPS. DPS for sure, though!
Always a rogue or a rogue-like class.
I've always gravitated toward casters. Usually DPS but I enjoy being heals as well.
I almost exclusively play melee classes. Something about getting up in the battle that I like.
Anything with an axe.
I usually play a stealth based class either ranged or melee.
I usually play a Paladin type character, though I like close, fast hitting characters as well, the Rogue type from the demo definitely was fun, I'm looking forward to it.
Time and again I find myself in the role of a tank. nothing beats wading into combat and smashing somethings face in and living to tell about it. From my earliest days of D&D to EQ to WoW, tanking is the way to go!
In the good old D&D type games my main/solo char was a wizard/sorcerer, now i tend to be a mage/warlock, i love the sneak archer type in skyrim
I prefer to play a melee class such as a rogue and dual wield swords/daggers and get down and dirty in melee combat with multiple mobs around me.
I play healers, and every once in a while I try to do something else when I'm in need of a good laugh.
In RPGs I usually play either warriors with self-heals, such as paladins or full out casters, to get the job done from a fair distance :)
I usually play a long ranged mage class, but i also play as a sneaky assassins sometimes when i get bored.
I usually try and play a mix of spellcaster and melee fighter. I love spellblades and the idea of mixing mystical and martial..
I usually play a melee with stealth or a ranged with weapons!
