My favorite holiday event is Children's week. I've loved taking my orphans to battlegrounds and having them share cleaves with me as I tank raid bosses.
I like now the event Hallow's End. The new daylies and pets are nice. Ok, extra travel time to UC to douse the fire from the burning men, took some time. But sometimes you met some "nice" druids or rogues stabbing there claws or knifes in your back to say hello., while you doused the fire. ;-)
I love Hallow's end, In real life my favorite holiday is halloween I love helping my children dress up they are so excited to go out and have fun with there friends and I get excited... Its like doing this holiday fun quests with your guild friends or strangers and hoping they or you find a good rare! just as i am excited in real life to take my children trick or treating they are excited watching me play this game and hoping i get the rare headless helm! hehe ty
For me it is Hallow´s End too ...The masquerades, the broomstick and the best thing ... the chance of getting the Headless Horseman's Mount. It´a funny and spooky time in WoW :)
My favourite is Love is in the Air. The chance for that pimpin' X-45 Heartbreaker is just hugely exciting. Possibly the coolest mount in the game.On the flip side, it's a depressing holiday for those without a significant other. Myself being one. Double edged sword hey?
I will have to say Winter Veil, because I have so many nice memories about making in-game christmas presents to my guildies and friends:) Last year my friend and I gave eachother the exact same present, the mats for the engineering goggles:P The atmosphere is so much light and happy, even the trolls in trade-chat seems to be affected by the holiday spirit! I am so glad that World of Warcraft have Winter Veil so that people that may not have the the perfect christmas (like its pictured in countless movies), can escape into Azeroth with their friends for a while..
My favorite WoW holiday would be all holloween as well, this year just made me love hollowen in wow even more(even though i still dont have the headless horsemans mount lol) 1:i love this holiday because for one the tital you get from it is wicked cool "The Hallowed" 2:another thing i like was something blizz added and that would be the tricky treats, in some raid fights like atramedes its really helpfull unless you eat too much, im also glad they added new pets that look totaly awsome like the creppy crate and the cool witch kitty 3:and another thing i love about the holiday in wow is the scenery of it all, its really cool to see pumpkins and hanged gosts everywhere, the wickerman in the two citys was also coolthank you blizzard for such an amazing holiday for shuch an amazing game :)
Definitely Children's Week, quests are really nice because they give me a pretext to take a break from what I'm doing and travel around Azeroth (and beyond ;)).
Brewfest is my favorite holiday because you can drink beer, have fun and beat up a few iron dwarves with empty mugs.
My favorite in game holiday is Winter Veil for sure. Call me cheesy but I get a warm fuzzy feeling every time it comes around because it reminds me of how much fun I had with my very first guild back in 2005 during the first Winter Veil I experienced. I remember how epic it was for us all and the fun times we all had just talking on vent and laughing while camping and waiting for The Abominable Greench to spawn. A lot of people in my guild had no families around to celebrate the holidays with so we all really bonded together and it was all during Winter Veil on WoW. So yeah that holiday always does make me feel happy when it comes around for reasons in game and out. I have many things to be thankful to WoW for and that's one of the biggest..
