My favorite would be Children's Weekwith thanks to Bizzard for installing that wonderful sense of wonder that only a Child has and allowing us to partake in that week. The new places, the Candy and the Pets
Hallow's end is THE BEST holiday EVER and you can wear a haunted pumkin in you head and wear costumes and eat all candy you want (if you have a Remove decease skill on you character) and you can kill a headless horseman who likes to create rhimes while he fights! :DDD
Hallow's End because of the trick or treating! :))
My favourite holiday is Love is in the Air - Valentines,I'm an old romantic and this holiday is so much fun getting loved up with my guild mates... Love the boss fight in Shadowfang Keep... Just wish I managed to get a X-45 Heartbreaker though so I can take my wife for a romantic ride around Elwynn Forest and find a quite spot... Giggity...Feel the Love.
Brewfest all the way the only time of the year in which to get totally smashed in game
My favourite holiday is actually the Harvest Festival. I play in the Role-Playing server Earthen Ring (EU), which makes all holidays fun, but this holiday takes the cake. With so many people asking what you do at the Harvest Festival and what the point of it is, it's a nice opportunity to get creative and do some RP. I personally like to dress up in a bunny-girl outfit, mount up on a reindeer and, with my guildies in matching clothing, tell people the tale of why we celebrate the harvest festival, while handing out the Black Mageweave armour sets to people. The story of the Harvest Festival goes something like this; "Long ago there was a kingdom that suffered from a great famine. After several months of no growth in the fields food supplies became low, and the people of the kingdom became desperate. As a year passed since the last successful harvest, the people of the village decided to appeal to the Gods with a sacrifice. Each family in the kingdom brought their first-born to be sacrificed out in the fields, under the eyes of the Gods. Child after child was mercilessly cut down, and where their blood splattered upon the soil, seeds began to sprout. And that is why each year, at the beginning of September, we go out into the fields, put on these outfits and sacrifice a child. You had better behave if you don't want that child to be you!" The holiday is fun for everyone involved. You get to have a laugh and make up your own silly rules about the holiday that doesn't have much in the way of lore or events, and it's nice to get to take on the role of Blizzard in handing out gifts appropriate for your own holiday, and tell your own tales.
Hallow's End is my favorite because of the spooky atmosphere and the Headless Horseman's rhymes.
My favorite holiday is the Lunar Festival because the fact that in order to get the title you must go through the challenge of entering the opposite faction's main cities and do some pvp to earn the achievements
For me, I would have to say that it's a split between Winter Veil and Lunar Festival. Winter Veil because of the whole "winter Holiday" feeling that the game gives off, the quests are still fun and are updated with the recent levels, and of course the pets that are added into the game each year. Always liked winter and the holiday season in real life and I think they did a good job representing it in the game. (Even with the whole corporate excuse to sell stuff part.) Lunar Festival because of all the items that you can make and collect through the event. You have a fun boss to kill that isn't just for a group of five people. You get an interesting outfit that you don't really get any other point of the year. And nobody can forget the fireworks you can get (and if an Engineer, can make.) I enjoy both of them pretty equally and think that they have to be some of the more fun holidays in the game. But that's just me.
