Used to be that I would say Brewfest was my favorite in game holiday, without question... but, with the changes that have happened to Hallow's Eve, it's too hard for me to choose between them. I really like the games that are specific to each holiday - delivering brew and putting out fires - and the toys and stuff are fun :)
Hallow's End is awesome. Insta-cast mounts, chace at a mount that's actually rare, WANDS! (don't wanna get back to raiding after wands are depleted). it's a really cool event. However Winter veil is great too, holiday in real life so it's the holiday that can be best enjoyed in-game. those are my favs.
Despite Halloween being my favorite "real" holiday, I think that Pilgrim's Bounty is my favorite WoW holiday. It has the classic Thanksgiving day feel with both decorations and eating, eating, eating! Gotta love the cooking quests and fall time atmosphere - makes me feel like I am in NY even when I am in Azeroth!
Lunar Festival would have to be my favorite WoW Holiday. I started playing WoW shortly before the release of BC in February, at the time i was a level 12 Tauren hunter entering the Barrens for the first time and kept dying to the zhevra and hyenas around because they were level 18+. I never read quest text and just attacked everything haha. I entered Camp Taurajo ( when it was still a town) to complete the quest from the Elder positioned there. Got my first Elder's Moonstone, used it, and thought that's awesome, need to get another one! So after talking to him he directed me north to the Crossroads where the next Elder was, which also brought me to the appropriate level quests. But unfortunately I got a Lucky Cluster Rocket and had no idea how to use it. Following year(s) when i actually got better in the game and actually followed the whole event in Moonglade with the recipes to make rockets, and killing Omen, and learning how to use the Lucky Cluster Rockets ( XD) it definitely made it even better. Every year since I have always enjoyed going to each elder in Azeroth, as well as shooting tons of rockets/fireworks, on my favorite WoW Holiday.
Midsummer, I love to play with fire!
My favorite holiday in World of Warcraft is Winter Veil.I love that feeling when i wake up early morning in my warm room, look outside the window and snowing.Turn on my pc,logg in to world of warcraft and its filled with the spirit of christmas!
this looks like an awsome give away.beerfest is my favorite. cause theres nothing like running around buzzed while your playing with a buzz
My favorite holiday has got to be Winter Veil. My favorite holiday on Earth is definitely Christmas, so seeing Azeroth decorated for Winter Veil, the tree with presents, fun quests, etc it's always been a lot of fun for me. And of course, looking forward to the present under the tree on Christmas Day. I do sometimes wish there was some sort of dungeon boss to kill, but I do enjoy it regardless (and at least you're not obligated to farm throughout the holiday season).
Hallow's End ! Its his head you must kill ! I will take good care of your Horsey :)
My favorite holiday in Azeroth is Hallow's End. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday in real life. Now that I'm nearing my thirties, I'm unable to enjoy Halloween as much as I used to. Society generally frowns on people in their mid-twenties going Trick-or-Treating. But thanks to World of Warcraft, I can relive my childhood by going Trick-or-Treating throughout Azeroth. Wearing different masks and being transformed into different forms brings back fond memories of dressing up in different costumes. And for the more rebellious youth, throwing stink bombs in each other's cities is reminiscent of throwing eggs at houses. It has fun achievements like G.N.E.R.D. Rage and Out With It. And fun daily quests, like working together to put out fires. It's fun riding the Magic Broom, and the non-combat pets are unique. I especially enjoyed the quest line leading up to the Creepy Crate. And of course there's the awesome loot dropped from the Headless Horseman. From throwing Weighted Jack-O-Lanterns at people to dousing your rival's Wickerman, this holiday has something for everyone. Hallow's End makes me feel like a kid again. My son will be born in November, my first born. And I can't wait until he's old enough for me to take him Trick-or-Treating both in and out of Azeroth.
My favorite holiday is Lunar Festival. Why?-The food-The booze-The magics-The tragics-The ZOMG FIREWORKS 24/7 disco troll rave parties.
