I really like the Winter's Veil. The first time having to go free Metzen was so much fun. Especially since I had no idea where he was, and actually had to follow the clues. The festival mount is great - who doesn't want flying reindeer?
Hallow's End. Because I get to get the head of... oh, wait... :DAlso I'd rather have too much candy than too much beer:P

Hallow's End is my favorite WoW holiday, without question, for several reasons. First, Halloween is and will always be my favorite holiday in that "other" world--for several years, my son and I were infamous in our town for creating creepy scenarios in and around our home each year, and took pride in making grown men cry and small children giggle. :) When I started playing WoW and discovered that Azeroth had it's own creepy fall holiday, I was darn near giddy with anticipation. But that is not the only reason it's my favorite WoW holiday. Hallow's End features activities found throughout the game, and found in other holidays as well, creating a World-Class World Event. The fact is, Hallow's End offers something for everyone, whether it's PVP'ers (slipping into SW or Undercity to hit the Wickerman) or PVE (the Headless Horseman fight for higher lvl players), and for all, extinguishing the fires after the Shade of the Horseman torches buildings in villages gives us a chance to come together as a team and become a 'bucket brigade' to thrwart the pyromaniac's evil deeds. The holiday has beaucoup achievements that can be accomplished by all player lvls, and many quests for different levels as well. I like the fact that Blizzard created the Stink Bomb quests in enemy faction capitals this year, and especially that they are do'able by all player levels. It offers many newbies their first glimpse of the enemy's capitals, keeping them at a safe distance on the tandem, taxi broomstick while they get those warm, fuzzy feelings from lobbing Stink Bombs on enemy players' heads. Good times! For the more casual players, there are many achievements that are both gross and cool, all at once. Who doesn't like getting the free candy handouts at the Inns? Who doesn't relish the sight of big ol' warriors and bad-azz DKs wearing girly masks? :) Oh, and the mandatory barf-fest that occurs when toons overindulge in the sickly sweet Tricky Treats--how cool is that? The magical wands that transform players into bats, ninjas, and other costume creatures, are a great way to breakup the boredom (and annoy the group grumps!) when waiting for a dungeon or raid group to get back to business during those agonizingly long minutes when one group member is afk/brb/disco'ed.Finally, my very favorite part of Hallow's End are the mounts and pets, despite the fact that this 7-year loyal player has yet to win the Horseman's mount (grrrrr...). The broomstick mounts kick it, travelling at high speeds with expert manueverability, so it's all good, at least for the run of the holiday season. The introduction of new pets this year brought my main toon's total to 158 vanity pets. And honestly, I am not dwelling on the fact that the dang Horseman's mount would have gotten me to 112 total rides. (grrrrr...). Hallow's End embodies all the coolest stuff from the other World Events, borrowing the quick-and-dirty PVE boss fight event from Brewfest (with totally phat lewt); potential PVP encounters (unless you're fast afoot!) a la' Midsummer Fire Festival; good ol' fashioned goofiness from the Masks and Wands that we get from trick-or-treating at the Inns, which are about as war-like as the Noblegarden egg hunts and bunny ears (and just as delightful); and the pets and mounts (again, not gonna dwell...grrrrr!) for collectors, all combined in a 2-week long fun fest for all. Hallow's End is the sum total of all that is good--and evil--in Azeroth, and is surely at or near the top of everyone's list of favorite World Events. The boyz at Blizzard really got it right with this holiday, and continue to improve on its near-perfection each year. So to Hell with the Red Ryder BB Guns; the one-day barf-fest in Booty Bay--"arghhh, matey"; and you can keep your bunnies, turkey dinners, Orphan's pets, and yes, even the little heart "Be Mine" candies and alluring scents that mark each February. Even the battle with Omen each year, which is epic both in size and difficulty--"pales" in comparison to everything that Hallow's End brings us--it is truly a holiday that can be enjoyed by all the denizens of Azeroth, regardless of faction, race, level, PVP/PVE preference, or other interests (GRRRRR....). Happy Haunting!
Without a doubt it has to Brewfest! Getting drunk. fighting off dark iron dwarfs and not to mention the hilarious items!
Hallow's End is my favorite holiday because I love anything spooky, and of course, candy. My birthday also occurs during the Hallows End event which makes all that much more enjoyable!
My favorite WoW holiday is Hallow's End. It was the first I was able to get the achievement for, before I was even level capped - I was around level 70 and this was in Wrath. I spent days running around, getting all the flight paths I hadn't been to before in order to get all the candy buckets, and my guild brought me to a run of the Headless Horseman once I'd finished every other achievement needed. I still wear title all the time, and I feel it fits my holy priest very well. The two times so far it's come around since then, I've enjoyed remembering all the fun I had with my guild and friends around that time, and creating new memories has been fun as well.
I always love Winter Veil, and all the festivities. It's a unique time of giving (and getting!) cool presents, and the seasonal bosses are very neat.
My favorite would have to be Feast of Winter Veil. I love snowball fights, Christmas-clad gnomes and all of the mini-pets associated with the holiday. There is also of course, father winter with his presents! There's just a lot to do during Winter Veil and I'm looking forward to the one coming up!
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?Winter veil is my favorite. I love playing around with all the new stuff every year, riding reindeer, and all the companions are awesome!
My favorite is Winters Veil:I love this one because it occurs right around my birthday and obviously Christmas. This time of the year i get to wrap presents and send them to all my friends both in game and in real life. Theres nothing better then the spirit of giving. Also everyone seems to come together here both in game and out and it just feels really awesome to surrounded by all the joy :D
Def Hallow's End - I love spamming the GM (also the main tank) on heroic rag attempts with wisp wands before the pull. It's got to the point where me and about 5 others are doing it to him randomly through the other heroics.
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?My favorite holiday is Midsummer Fire Festival, because it encourages world PvP something that has not been supported since BC.
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why?For me its Childrens week, I don't know excatly why but its nice to actually help out little children in need, I wish i could adopt :(, and the companion pets they make for the holiday are always the most rewarding :)
