My favorite must be Brewfest! :D Probely related to real life xD
My favorite holiday is Hallows End. Its also my most hated :P I love it because I love the story of the Headless Horseman, I also hate it for that mount. 4 level 85's and I have yet to see the damn thing drop, while my husband has it on 3 of his 5.
Winter Veil. I like to give the Greench the what-for!
I'd have to say either Winter's Veil or Hallow's End. Winter's Veil is basically christmas and I enjoy the holiday in reality. I enjoy the mood and the events of Hallow's End though, and especially the mount, which is one of the cooler mounts in the game imo.
Hallow's End, but only slightly more than Brewfest. I get drunk during both events anyway. Maybe Blizz should combine them :)
Definitely Hallows End, because it reminds me of when I was a kid and used to go trick-o-treating. There's just a certain mysticism about Halloween, and what better way to celebrate it than playing WoW? I do wish they would elaborate on the trick-o-treating part of it though.....like the game Costume Quest - you actually turn into your costume! Love Halloween!
Hallows end the first total achivment event for me
My favorite would definitely be Winter's Veil. It's a time of joy and we get to celebrate it ingame and experience the same joy of the Real Life in a place that for many has become the home away from home
In a game that's all about war and death, Children's Week is my favorite holiday. Taking an orphan under my wing and showing him the sights of Azeroth like a big brother or father figure makes me feel good about doing my part in the war even though the child has lost his parents. Give me a sense of guiding the kid into making something more of their life than just another corpse in a body count. That's partially why the Argent Gruntling is also my favorite companion pet.
It's a tie between Brewfest and Winter Veil, for me. Brewfest is just fun and silly (but also has what I consider an interesting challenge in the keg run), while Winter Veil is awesome because who doesn't love presents!
Its probably Hallow's End.First of all, even though I like doing achievements and often go out of my way to get some especially grindy achievement, I don't like being forced to do it in a specific timeframe. Hallow's End doesn't take that much time; in fact, it can be done in one day, unlike most other achievements, where you have to do a set of dailies every day or else you wouldn't have enough tokens. And most of it involves doing a loop around the world, which allows me to go through a few digsites, which I usually don't bother to do, and poke around some enemy cities.Second, there's this horseman "daily", which only takes a few minutes, and gets you excited every time you open that pumpkin.Plus, the instant cast brooms can be really useful sometimes.
After playing over a year and taking a part of almost every single holiday. I would go with Brewfest because of various reasons.I don't know why but atleast at my server it creates alot of amazing world PVP at the Brewfest contest areasyou also have alot of dailies and alot of buyable items from vendors, wierd pets and the mounts from Blackrock etc, besides its also fun to spam one of the random beers and troll around the TeamSpeak you can also troll in game with throwing random bottles around.
