argent tournament is my loved one and its because it newer ends :D
Hallow's End. Its one of the first holidays that Blizzard made epic! The Headless Horseman has changed the way I look at ingame holidays and I always look forward to separating his head from his body every year!
I would have to say that it is a tie between Hallow's End and Brewfest. I love going around and getting the candy buckets at all the inns and the different "tricks" that happen because of it. I like Brewfest because it is when I started to play the game. It was the first holiday that I played in-game and my brother had to teach me how to do it all.
Definitly hallow's end. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. My husband even proposed on halloween (had a pumpkin carved with "will you marry me") so anything halloween is always my favorite. Plus I still love the headless horseman's mount.
The Lunar Festival. I dig the Moonglade and it seems to be neglected at times; plus we get to honour our in-game ancestors, how cool is that?
Midsummer Fire Festival. The decorations are so beautiful. The whole event has this pumped up feeling! It's all about competition, showing off and being the best ;DAll players trying to rush, sneak and jump to the enemy bases, reaching to kill those flames and not get caught in the process!Competitive, sometimes hard, and sometimes frustrating. But no one gets hurt in the process! And it's FUN :DAnd while cooling off from the latest run mission, you can throw some torches,or give quiet respects to the home flames.
My very first WoW Character was a draenei priest. He's still my main at 80. (I don't have Cataclysm yet...) This was shortly after BC dropped, and Draenei were pretty new. I didn't know that making one would mean isolation from my non-Draenei friends, who suggested I needed to come do Deadmines with them. There was no queue in those days, you still had to walk there. The boat from the Exodar went to Auberdine back then, and from there you could catch a boat to Menethil Harbor. After Menethil Harbor you had to make your way down the road to Dun Algaz and through the tunnel to Ironforge. With a little direction from my friends I made my way to the Deeprun Tram, and went to Stormwind. I was almost there! Upon leaving Stormwind I moved down the road towards Goldshire, and saw my first glimpse of the Darkmoon Faire. While I have seriously enjoyed all of the holidays Blizzard has given us, from getting drunk at Brewfest and falling down drunk to trick or treating all over Azeroth at Hallows End, I have a special place in my heart for the first holiday I ever encountered.
Hallow's End has always been my favourite WoW holiday. I love the atmosphere, I love the costumes more than anything! I stock up on those pumpkin candies so I can always be rocking a costume during raid time, or running dungeons, or pvp, or whatever! My favourite costume is definitely the Defias-looking pirate you get from the pumpkin candies, but I'm also a big fan of the good ol' skeleton for spellcasters.
Easily Hallow's End. The costumes, masks, and the headless horseman make the entire event incredibly fun. Plus its always fun watching battlegrounds play out when half the team consists of skeletons and leper gnomes.
My favorite WoW holiday has to be Pirate's Day. 1 day out of the entire year where horde and alliance alike can set aside language barriers, put on funky hats, and talk like the scallywags they be. Yar!
Well I'd say veil of winter. Why? Free gifts? Yea thats never bad. But the real reason is X-Mas is my fav holiday. Always going outside to decorate my house with my parents. Looking at the snow on the ground at night making everything look so peaceful. Truthfully, despite that now I have to shovel the snow, prepare gifts for kids, and all that. I still at every holiday season, I still look around at the house that decorate with lights, or just sit at the window and look outside to the sometimes endless new white world. -- My holiday season, is Winter Viel.
