Hallow's End. It just sets the mood better then any other world event in WoW.
What is your favorite holiday in World of Warcraft and why? What instantly strikes my mind is Winter Veil. During December everyones attitude changes. The radio starts playing christmas music, people seem to be happier and getting in a nice friendly christmas spirit. And in the midst of all this, the atmosphere emerges into WoW as well. All the decorations, Santa Claus, presents, costumes and of course some new achievment points! It was also the first holiday that I got to experience in the game so many years ago. Seeing that big tree in Ironforge with presents underneeth it made me excited. Perhaps I was going to get something epic!It also feels like it sums up and ties together the year in a nice way. So with the jolly atmosphere and cozy design, this makes it, undoubtedly, my favorite holiday.
Well, Love is in the Air was fun until Blizzard screwed the fest bosses (together with all others but alchemists were really tough until LFG system for those bosses). Now I like Pilgrim's Bounty much, maybe.
Pirate's day! Because pirate! Arrr.
Absolutely, the Lunar Festival. I love going around to all the Elder's in the game and speaking with them and learning from what they have to say.
Day of the Dead.Because too much heroes lost their lifes trying to make Azeroth (and Outland) a better place to live. It's a day to honor the dead, and a day to be happy for being still alive.(Sorry for my bad english.)
My favorite is Midsummer, it's a warm and fun holiday where you can go outside in the sun on the days and then play WoW on the evenings. Nothing is better =)
My favorite holiday in World of Warcraft is, with no doubt, Hallow's End! Not just because i like it in real life but because it's the only way to see people around the world and helping each other nowadays.
Brewfest has been my favorite event in World of Warcraft since 2008 I really enjoyed the Boss fight to try and get a Brewfest Ram mount and even then I had fun doing the daily quest to earn the Monthly Brew Member Club to receive weird sort of drink every month.I missed it this year to complete the "What a Strange Long Trip its been" achievment but I will at least enjoy the Tyrael Charger for recently getting back on World of Warcraft :)
Brewfest, simply due to the following:Perfect excuse for drunk raiding (In game or RL, or both)
My favorite holiday has always been Hallow's End. When you went around collecting candy with your buds and went into Brill the first time hearing the Headless Horseman's chant was so amazing! Putting out his fire and fighting him on the ground to reveal a pumpkin head always reminded me of The Nightmare Before Christmas, a Halloween tradition in my house. Also the decorative touches to every city and the general feel of Autumn was added to the game.Such a good feeling.
i'd say, it'd probably have to be children's week. eating candy in front of your orphan is pretty hilarious. and who doesn't love sleepy willy. in all his weirdness!and i'm sorry, but that little draenei orphan, swinging her arms around... i want HER as a vanity pet!
Winter Veil is my favorite WoW holiday. I really enjoy the whimsy of many of the quests for that holiday. There also is less of an element of chance and frustration in doing the quests. Plus, it's fun opening presents!
My favourite world event is Winter Veil because I have a really good feeling when I do the event achievements, and this felling is in my real life too during this time. This is the Christmas feeling. The family is together and its really good in game and in real life also.
