Eh, I disagree with most of the language and delivery...but the substance underneath has a bit of a truthful ring to it. The only part I dislike was the "build it for the hardcore" bit as I really feel that in the past they were attempting to build it for the middle and were just doing a bit better job of pleasing the two ends than they are now (but not much). Now I'm honestly not sure who they are or should be building it for.
That said, I'm still liking and playing and don't plan to do any major breaks soon :) I certainly wouldn't go to the extremes that the OP's post implies to me, but I can see where he's coming from (minus all the scrotum stuff since I don't have one :P)

I've been playing since launch day. Funny, I think WoW is better than it's ever been. =)

Snip of doom.
I agree. 100%. But it is still cheap entertainment for me when I don't have any plans on the weekends, and between sleep/work on the weekdays(3rd shift, so can't do much hanging out with friends when they are all in work/school during the day.) I wish a lot that they would un-easiafy it in some aspects, but as you mentioned, it's a lot about money. If it's easier at the bottom, and easy enough at the top, people will stay. Blizzard has certainly taken out the middle. Get in, powerlevel through 85 levels, and get out into gear grinding/raiding/PvP. They seem to not want people in the middle levels. But what can we really do about it? The minority, even if in the millions of a 10+million community, can unfortunately not sway a company from the majority.

Oh god another one of these.....
Honestly, I much prefer his way of laying down the issues compared to how others have gone about it. This was the first I had actually read through entirely. Nice mix of comedy and seriousness lol. Gotta hook your readers after all. Unfortunately, the fact it's a first post of some account that was made 2 hours ago doesn't help his chances of anyone taking him very seriously heh.

The coherence in the QQ is the OP appears to never have played WoW in vanilla and TBC. The present is not perfect, and in the past things were more expensive yet less effective.
No hate, but best practise: You no like? Do it yourself.
