Would any of those things have warranted execution?
Considering I live in a country without the death penalty, absolutely not, but neither would Hitler, Saddam Hussein, Osama bin Laden or anyone else you're probably thinking of as you wrote that.
People expressed joy over the deaths of terrorists, corrupt leaders, dictators, etc.. Why the latter? Because they treat their people inhumanely, their poor population suffers under their rule, because they don't interact and negotiate with the rest of the world? This isn't really that different.
I'll give Steve Jobs respect for being a visionary and having dreams, but I won't sugarcoat it and hide the fact that his dreams are built up on the blood, sweat and tears of others. If it's okay for people to be glad at the death of one dictator, then it's just as reasonable for them to be happy at the death of another.(##RESPBREAK##)8##DELIM##Squishalot##DELIM##

So I was browsing around Steve Jobs' wiki.
What did he actually do besides exploit people?

Didn't know who he was before the article.
I guess in the grand scheme of things it's a loss to the world as a whole if he was a mastermind.
Sucks to die at 56.

To quote what I posted on Facebook earlier:
Today, the CEO of a global company passed away. As you reflect on his creativity and leadership, spare a thought for those in the factories who have died before him to make a man's dream reality.
Oi Squish, I totally quoted you on FB if you don't mind. Mentioned your name too.

Quoted in a good way, I hope... My girlfriend criticised me for provoking the Apple fanboys, but as it turns out, I've had a lot of positive feedback from it.

My only hope is that the Steve Jobs jokes get old very quickly.
He sure won't.

I'm going to be honest, I have no idea who this guy is. Call me heartless, but I can't really offer any sympathy for a man I don't know.

I've always hated Apple computers.
But I respected Mr. Jobs for his hard work and ingenuity.
This.
