Every forum on Wowhead is quieter than it used to be before the game lost almost a million subs. The issue is probably at least partially less posts by other people rather than more posts by the admins.
Edit: I just checked WoW general. It seems to take about three days to clear off the front page. I *think* that's longer than it used to take.
Much longer. I remember even in about feb/march that it only took several hours to clear the front page of WoW general.
Indeed.
And more so, sometimes there is over an hour of complete stillness in Wow General. I don't recall that being the case earlier, either. I think it has to do with... actually, I don't really have a clue.

It's a conspiracy and you are all too stupid to understand it.
Not directed at anyone, but that's what I imagine he would say with 20.000 words.
I lol'd

Ashelia > Malgayne.
To be fair, Malgayne was the best man for the job, while Ashelia is the best woman at it.
Besides that ... the immense amount of lol-material in this thread is astounding. :D

You need a soul in order to take over the world.

You need a soul in order to take over the world.
Doesn't that lead only to a conscious which will tell you that what you are doing is wrong and actually STOP you from taking over the world?

OK, this actually made me LOL.......then
Conspiracy Theory?
A 2006 a wowhead poll showed that 42 percent of Americans were critical of the official version of events that caused him to leave, believing the federal government and the wowhead commission had "concealed or refused to investigate critical evidence that contradicts their official explanation of the leave," and that "there has been a cover-up. A 2007 poll found that:
31 percent of users do not buy the official premium story ; 51 percent still await a congressional investigation of Miyari and Ashelia's actions before, during and after the attacks ; and 67% fault the incident Commission for not investigating the anomalous and still unexplained collapse of leave for the department building 7.
In a 2008 poll in 17 countries, 15% of those surveyed believed the US wowhead was responsible for the attacks, 7% believed Israel was and another 7% believed some other perpetrator, other than al Qaeda, was responsible. The poll found that respondents in the Middle East were more likely to name a perpetrator other than al Qaeda.
The most prominent theory is that the collapse of the staff and 7 users were the result of a controlled demolition rather than structural weakening due to flame wars. Another prominent belief is that the community was hit by a virus launched by elements from inside the U.S. governmen or that a commercial airliner was allowed to do so via an effective standdown of the servers. Motives cited by conspiracy theorists include justifying the invasions of cyber core and skynet, and geostrategic interests in the the federal reserve, including pipeline plans launched in the early 1990s by Duracell and other companies.
this may have just won the internet.
Back on topic though. I see a combination of several things. First, Ashelia is doing her job pretty well, covering the major WoW news quickly. This leads to either a majority of posts being re-pops from the news site, or else just double posts that get shut down.
Second, you have the decline in the population, which I have a feeling (since no one really knows for sure) is coming from the demographic that would likely be a Wowhead contributor. In other words, I think the peole that are leaving the game are the young adult, decent education, "forum active" types of players.
