How much was the axtinguisher? Seems more valuable then a weapon specifically designed to help you switch to something else.
Yeah, not sure why bother with a S. Degreaser as the only point of the Degreaser is so you can axe faster ;p

Cost me about 3 crappy stranges. At that point, I was so tired of being on a trade server that I just wanted to get out. But the guy was selling them for 1.6-2 refined. He had over 100 stranges.

&*!@ axtinguisher. Use the flare gun. It also autocrits vs burning and has a range - killed so many Scouts that way.

I can't live without my Reserve Shooter, personally. Most pyros aren't ready to get mini crit for 100 damage without even getting close enough to use their flamethrower.

Going through another 'never playing tf2 again phase.' I really can't handle relying on the mouthbreathers that make up my team anymore.

I'm sorry =/
I find a lot of people are retarded, in all honesty.

Just go ahead and join me when I play :D That way you will have at least 1 decent player on your team.

I just put a basic rule for myself, take class which is not on a team yet. That way I might suck, but I won't be redundant suck. This is why, I can play as most classes, though I am kinda suck as Scout, too fast for me, and I hate being Medic. But, I think it is decent advise for all newcomers.
Although this may seem like a good idea, a lot of the time it's far better to just have an extra soldier/demo rather than a heavy or whatever. It's not like there's diminishing returns on classes so I don't see what you mean by "redundant suck".

There are diminishing returns on some classes. Mainly the ones everyone wants to play.

Spy and medic. I don't see any on any other classes. Good airblasting aside.

Scout. Sniper. Both are fragile classes and when stacked with too many, your team become a lot easier to deal with. And chances are that 3 of those 4 snipers on your team aren't very good so it would be hard to make a push.

If you're a good scout, I reckon it's better to play scout than a class you're bad at.
I do agree with snipers though, although mass Jarate + Bushwhacka charges are scary.
It's all situational of course. If the other team is all solly, you may want to avoid scout.

I wonder if the Engi shotgun medicharge effect works on medics actively ubering. Wrangle -> immediately switch to shotty (just wrangled to get the shield up) -> pummel medic to reduce ubercharge to 5 or 6 seconds -> gun saved.
Can't decide how I feel about the Eureka effect. I think I'd use it on maps where I wouldn't be planning to move my tele very often. The problem is, it isn't helpful anywhere you can set up next to a full ammo crate. You can tell the goal is set up tele, port to spawn, upgrade tele, take tele, set up gun, port to spawn, free ammo, take tele, upgrade gun, etc. No reason to go through the hassle next to full ammo, of if your tele is going to be misplaced every 45 seconds without you moving it.
Pyro shotty and axe would be amazing when you can use them in their niche, but too inferior to use otherwise. The flamethrower just looks like an even WORSE Backburner.

Is anyone else having trouble connecting? It keeps telling me that the server is running an older version of the game, so I can't connect. On all the new ones, there's only like 6 players.
