Is there any way to see when I enter a dungeon?
Also, is there a way to see if I've already entered the dungeon within the last hour or so?
I've looked through the APi on wowpedia but couldn't find anything useful (or am I extremely blind/stupid/whatnot?).

You need to check the event
ZONE_CHANGED
. Now, to check if you have entered a particular dungeon in the last hour, I don't think the API retain this kind of information. Using the event linked above, you will have to save the time at which you entered the dungeon and check over that. You could always use the function
IsInInstance()
and work something around with this.

Hmm.. I guess I'll have to use
IsInInstance()
for what I have in mind.
Thanks, don't know how I missed that one. :/

Note that this will probably return TRUE (or 1, whichever format the output is) when you're in a Battleground, or in BC Azeroth areas (they're just big instances).

It also returns the instance type.
IsInInstance()
. I'm not sure, but I think it's location-wise (excludes world zone such as Azuremyst, Bloodmyst, Eversong and Ghostlands... BC zones).
