Faust grinned widely. "In that case I believe we can come to an arrangement." He said darkly with a flash of his green eyes. "Might I intrude?" He asked pleasantly, gesturing at the home.

"Much obliged." Faust informed James pleasantly before entering after the paladin, taking a seat opposite and glancing around the home.
"Lovely home, very quaint. But where are my manners, my name is Faust Kaufman, a pleasure." Faust introduced, doffing his top hat to the other man.

"I may have overheard some of your worries from the street below, sharp ears." He offered in explanation, indicating the side of his head wiht the cane. "Thank you." He told Nurse when she returned with some tea. Faust took a light sip and grinned as usual.
"But that is not what you are truly interested in is it? I assume your attention rotates rather more fixedly on what I have to offer."

"Well, I am not normally this magnanimous but I had a recent pleasant run in with a relative today and as such I come bearing a choice to the fate of your child. On the one hand," Faust began, holding his palm out and a bottle appearing i a flash of smoke, "I can give you the antidote to your sons illness at great personal cost right now.
But, on the other," he clenched his hand, bottle disappearing, "you can fetch it yourself at a far lighter price." The man explained with a gleeful grin.

"That it does, but the surface can always be scratched away quite easily. The first option will cost you your soul, and your son will be restored to health as good as new once the purging process is complete." Faust explained mildly with a careless wave of his gloved hand.
"The second will carry the requirement of you to kill one person, of my choice, at any time once the contract is fulfilled. If you agree, I shall provide you with the location in which the cure will be located so that you can recover it yourself before the time limit is up." The sharp toothed man took another sip of his tea. "This is rather good tea I think."

Faust granted his companion a sly grin. "Well, the former would bring a far swifter result. But where's the fun in that?" Faust asked with a dark chuckle. "Normally i would not even entertain making a deal with you. You are not the archetype of my usual clientele but, again, I am in an exceptionally good mood and chanced upon the opportunity."
"So let's make a deal. Your choice, if I might ask, of the three options? Assured security for the greatest price? A gamble for a bargain? Or do you wish me to walk out that door and never darken it again?" Faust asked gleefully.

"I did hope you would say that." Faust uttered with a wicked smile. "What is involved is such. An original of the antidote is held in the ruins surrounding Lake Kel'Theril in Winterspring. After the whole sordid business of the Night Elf civilizations falling many items were lost, and it is within that place that the cure to your child's ailment can be found.
Now, there are some prerequisites to this mission. First of all, succeed or fail the price will be paid. Second of all is this." Faust raised his hand high, a golden chain with a small pocket watch on the end falling loose from his fist with a puff of purple smoke to dangle before them enticingly.
"The purpose of this watch is twofold. First of all, if you place a drop of your child's blood within the glass phial on the second hand the watch shall glow when you draw nearer to the antidote. Second, as long as you do not permit this clock to stop ticking by winding it regularly and protecting it, your son shall remain in his current state until the antidote is returned.
However," Faust added with a dark smile, "should the clock stop ticking I will assume you have failed and administer the antidote I have to him, saving his life and you will surrender your soul to me as a cost. Not a bad deal, insured that your son shall survive regardless of the outcome and the weight of returning rests solely on you. So, have we a deal?" Faust asked teasingly.

Faust narrowed his eyes slightly at Rebecca. "I do hate those who are rude enough to intrude on private matters without invitation." He said shortly. With a snap of his gloved fingers a cone of silence enveloped him and James, ensuring nothing said between them was heard by the intruder.
"There we are. Now then, do you have any questions?" Faust asked pleasantly

"Excellent. Just sign here," the grinning man produced a scroll from his sleeve with another puff of smoke, unrolling it on the table between them, "and your son is well on his way towards a healthy life once more." With a flick of his wrist Faust produced a pen topped with a tiny purple orb from his sleeve, offering it to James.
