Hi I'm new to this whole rping thing and am so confused how to properly RP, like, i see these open RPs and feel as though the wrong chemicals in my brain have mixed together, can you interact with other player's characters in open RP? can you join in on an open rp that's already far in? Do you have to be one of the 10 classes or can you be something different, like a ranger or a bard? Thanks for reading, and please help if you can!

Yes to all (you can be something different).

There are some helpful hints here.
And yes, you are free to join in, but please look at Wowpedia for proper classes and the like, as well as checking the first page of the RP's to know what is going on. Also.....never make a Bard in a Warcraft RP, as they just plain don't exist in the Warcraft universe.

Are you trying to tell me in a fantasy universe like WoW's there's no such thing as a bard or a minstrel? I find that VERY hard to believe.
Bard that uses music to kill enemies?

I think Adams is referring to the kind of bard I am.

So far, there has been one minstrel, and that was in the Twilight Highland for the Wildhammers; so dwarves apparently have them. But no, there are no music magic types in the Warcraft universe; and very few references to full on nation music beyond the Tauren drum circles, a few players here and there among the humans, and next to none in the Elven nations.

As a musical player sure, as a magical musician, not so much.

Someone could possibly enchant an instument or something to channel magic when it is played. Overly complicated, but possible.
We have a lot of musical items we can find here and there, not even counting the Arcanite RIpper. There seems to be a good chance there are musicians.
