Hey man do what do what you got to do. But here's the thing.
Your playing to much wow if your significant other's pants become a rare drop and someone else is rolling on them.
Even worse if they are selecting need.

The portents are unfavorable
I'm widowed but over the years (before WoW) I would occasionally bring home a new game and my wife knew I'd disappear into my office and play pretty much non stop for a few evenings until the new wore off. At which point I'd return to normal. She resisted getting her own computer or using mine for years. Then she changed her mind, bought a computer and became addicted to a number of games, which she played at least as much as I play WoW now. We accepted that we would spend time with each other and doing things the other had no interest in at all (like knitting). In other words we allowed each other the space to enjoy our lives.
I was introduced to WoW by a friend whose GF was a serious player. He and I, (and she off and on) quested together. I loved the game, he became bored and stopped playing completely. She remained a hard core player/raider/PvPer. The time she spent playing broke them up. IMO they are both better off.
This is as much a control issue as anything else. My advice is walk away. If you give in to her wishes about the game, there will be something else that you like and she doesn't that will cause the same problem.
My $.02 and worth what you paid for it
