Death Knight. Gives you melee and tankz so go with your Druids casting/heals.

Um ... yeah. >_>
His alt doesn't have to "go with" anything, since his druid is alliance while his alt will be horde.
@ OP: I like how you've
"fried"
others and they haven't gotten far ;-) But all casters are fun in their own right. Mages, warlocks, shammies (although I prefer enhancement instead of elemental for leveling), ... Priests are a bit harder to level, unless you level through dungeons. Hunters are fun as well, and they are ranged too. They're just not casters :p

So what? DKs are the most "magelike" melee class and even if he thinks he likes casters more than melee - since he doesn't have a melee he simply can't know for sure. That's why I recommend a DK regardless.
Additionally the DK is easier to level. Big bonus.
On the other hand - if he wants to see the updated classic content that came with Cataclysm - he can just as well try a Paladin or Warrior. Since he has a caster/healer already he should most definately try a tank.
Another option would be a Shaman. With that class he can try melee at a high level and see how it works in dungeons and raids and if he really doesn't like it he can still switch to casting/healing. The problem with this is that he would still not have any tanking class (missing out on that gameplay experience) and as potential caster/healer his Shaman would fill the same roles as his Druid - boooooring.
It also doesn't really matter that both classes are on different factions. He already gets all the gameplay experience from playing a ranged caster and a healer. He should try to go for a different gameplay experience with his first serious alt. Alliance / Horde doesn't really have any effect on the gameplay experience (except for quests that are different, but for those the class doesn't matter at all).

Dude, he has a
DRUID
he has a tank and melee and caster and healer already and he said he likes caster. Think for a tiny second would you?
I'd go priest if you like healing more, mage or hunter if you want to stay far from another healer...or my first choice would be roll another druid! (I vote cow /moo)

Dude, he has a BALANCE/RESTO Druid and he said he likes casters. Read for a tiny second, would you?
I'm saying that it doesn't really matters if he likes casters or not. He should still give a melee/tanking class a try (since he is playing his Druid neither as melee nor as tank), just to get a feel for it. He might prefer them over casters after all. It's worth trying it at the very least.
But it's too late now anyway. Warlocks are kind of fun and trying a pet class is something new, too, I guess. At least better than trying some boring normal caster that pretty much does exactly the same thing as his balance Druid, just with different spell names.
