Major lag issues since the patch

Anyone else having lag spikes while moving around or during combat? I'm on a Macbook Pro with 4GB of memory, all I have open besides WoW is the Wowhead Client, I have all my visual settings in the game turned down to Low or occasionally Fair, and whenever I move or start combat, my framerate drops to 15 or under. I lagged out of two different attempts at Ahune on my druid, by which I mean the fight started, my framerate dropped to 1.something, generic zone audio continued but the animation didn't, and after a minute or so I got disconnected from the server. I had to force quit the second time. I'm really hoping it's just a bug that needs to be worked out with the patch, because there's not really anything else I can do to try and improve the situation. I've tried resetting our modem and router, but I haven't tried turning all my addons off and trying them one by one until I find the problem. I'm not sure it would do anything if I did, but if someone out there thinks that might help, I guess I could.

Try disabling all of your addons and see if the issue persists. Most likely an addon that worked pre-patch is no longer working properly. Then make sure you update all of your addons and bring them on one at a time to isolate the problem one(s).

It's also patch day; those are always bad days for lag.

It's entirely your addons, it's not the patch. Disable any combat log addon or DBM to fix.

lmfao I'm sure, I figured it was that, I just thought I'd check. I'm not even bothering with Hyjal for a couple of days, it's not THAT interesting to me, and I'd much rather mess with the last couple of days of Midsummer and work on my warlock. The blue comment seems to be in the minority about the cause, but I will disable DBM and the things I don't absolutely need and see if that helps. :P

Actually, seems to be Recount; but since they haven't updated it for almost a month, that's expected.

Double check your graphics settings also, sometimes patches change them on you. Mine usually get turned up higher than I prefer them and this patch changed the screen resolution on my husband's for some reason...really freaked him out because it stretched his tauren all funny lolz.

Patchday is the make-a-new-alt-day for me!
Dont need any addons and are left alone when questing.
I HATE new open-world content. Expansions and new questhubs are the worst...

Disable Recount. It's causing major lag issues as of 4.2.

Hm. I had no issues with lag during the 5 minutes I was actually able to log on.
Maybe my addons were out of date...

Had lag issues but turned it out to be an Addon (Parrot) and it went back to normal.

The only addon I had off yesterday was recount, and it was working fine. (I even loaded the old versions of my battle text addons and such, not all had updated before I got off last night.) Curse is back up so updating them is easy.

I actually got an ingame message today because of lag. the message said ´ some of your addons appear to be causing major errors and are preventing the client from operating normally.. would you like to close your add-ons´.. I clicked yes, and it relogged me with my addons turned off.
It was NPCscan that was causing the issue.. major lag and FPS problems. I only had two addons running at the time, and turning the other one on caused no issues (AllPlayed for altaholics)

Update Recount.
/thread.

...
not /thread, it isn't the only addon causing issues and it can be other things such as changed settings or just being in too crowded of a spot.
