Since add-ons such as Bartender can continuously display whether or not your target is in range for each of your spells, this implies that range checking is done on the client side first, which in turn means that the width of an NPC's hitbox (if it has one) must be available through the type of data mining Wowhead already does. So why not display it? It would sometimes be useful.
(For those not familiar with the term, a hitbox is an amount subtracted from the distance to a mob, when checking range or AoE, to account for the mob being larger than average.)

We have that data and we don't need an addon to collect it, but I doubt it would be useful to display..

Since the information is there I wouldn't mind being able to see it. :3
I can already imagine a profile option to "show advanced information" checkbox to toggle showing/hiding things like hitboxes and what not other kind of information currently not in use, but things addon authors and advanced users may like to know about. :D
Koper, could you help me out on one thing, I've had no problems before but the new patch system I have problems with the MPQ and let's say extracting the DBC files. Atm when I try to extract the folder I only get to the patch before the Winged Guardian, hence it's not in the Spell.dbc file, since I use an addon and a program that extracts data from these dbc files I'd like to know how you on Wowhead manage the extractions, using any public tools you could point me towards? ^^
