When we first killed Kael'thas - the night before 6 raid members got disconnected halfway through the final pull of the evening and we wiped at 6%. The next night we went back and killed Kael after a few attempts. 4 weeks of work, getting progressively better at each phase, learning the fight and the RP speeches by heart (I still know them all).

My favorite memory in WoW was being able to stealth past mobs on my feral druid while leveling. It was nice because you got to do only what the quests required of you and fun because if you messed up and got too close to the mobs you'll probably pull more than you can handle.
My Favorite Memory is by far the best memory of wow I still carry back from the vanilla days on Warsong with my 1st guild The Phoenix Guard we were running MC and got to Rags and should have had it in the bag but somehow at the last 10% of life rags had the guild MT died as well as the OT cause the main tank healers both had a power outage in the area they lived together in so everyone was yelling "Take Him Down" but everyone was dying so quickly I popped cheetah and started to run trying to get back to the entrance or find a safe place to feign death when I heard my gl say cursing he at 3% hp, so i ran back by that time I was 1 of 2 ppl left alive the other being a mage and we only had a few secs before he goes under and spawns the firespawns so we dps him down to about 2% when the mage died so I popped everything i had along with my frostsaber ability's and managed to kill him with 3 secs left on the submerge timer. Least to say it was epic on every lvl and i took a screenie and posted it on the main page of our guild website and also made a background and a sig out of the picture that I still have somewhere on my old comp. For 1 nite I felt like a hero!
My greatest memory will always be getting server first for 10man 3 drake sarth. We pug'd it hahaha. Pretty much 10 of the server's top trade trolls in one raid and we monstered the achievement. 06/08/09
My favorite memory was meeting my best wow friend when I was lvl 16. From that day we did everything together. Achievements, dugeons, research on gear, farming, you name it we did it together...... we even dinged lvl 80 at the same time. And then we started again. Oh I can't forget building rep for days and days so we could get flying mounts. I never would have done that if I did not have him as a partner. I had the best time playing with him. We had many laughs at our stupid mistakes and the times we were clueless and lost. Those were the days. btw thanks for bringing back the memories!
My favorite memory was leveling my blood elf hunter (first character ever) and learning that greens and blues were better than my white gear. Sounds noobish but it was a glorious day when i found out about stats on gear and weapons. I remember blushing when my boyfriend told me that white gear was NOT the best gear for me. I still get teased about it to this day!
My favorite moment in WoW of all time was the day my two friends and I were questing in Loch Modan. We had reached the end of leveling in that area and headed towards the North tunnel leading into the Wetlands. Mind you, we all had tried beta but started off as Night Elves. When the game launched, we all switched to Humans and were very unfamiliar with the layout of the land.As we reached the end of the first tunnel, instead of noticing it jolts directly to the left, we were chatting in Vent and not paying attention so much so, we launched right off the cliffs. By the time I figured out what happened, I spun my camera around to see where the heck I just came from. Just as I was about to exclaim in voice chat what happened, I saw my friend making the final 20 feet of his mile long drop before dying not a few inches from me.I don't recall a time we laughed harder. Obviously, it was one of those had-to-be-there moments but after 6 years, I still remember it fondly and quite vividly. Every time I pass by there, I'm tempted to replay the incident for old time's sake. Thank goodness for guild-paid repairs!
My absolute favorite memory (I'll never forget it because it was hilarious), was when we were on our way back from a guild run and we were going back to Vengeance Landing and there's that big elevator there. Our healer was a priest so he was buffing us so we could float down instead. Our friend thought he was buffed and he went wizzing by us at top speed and away he went...with no float buff....falling thru the air to his death...with his horse tail pointing up! We all got a very good chuckle out that and still talk about it. XD
My favorite memory from World of warcaft is when i finaly hit lvl 70 (back in the days of BC) and got to enjoy the fun and excitment of raiding. Been doing it ever since.
My best memory of WoW is the first time my guild finished Naxx 10 (WOTLK). I was on my first level 80 toon and I didn't get to raid very much as I play 12 hours different to server time, but it was a long weekend so I had 3 straight days. When KT finally went down after 10 hours total raiding, I think our vent server nearly crashed 'cause of all the yelling. To be a part of that team the first time our guild acheived something like that was awesome. It cemented a loyalty to the guild in me and that same group was repeatedly the first in our guild to acheive success, but to me, nothing compared to being part of that first raid completion.
My favorite moment is killing Kil'jaeden for the first time. We were the first on the server to kill him. I remember being really frustrated that, being a Mage, and quite useless as all Mages were in the Sunwell era, I had to handle the dragon. At the ~20% (I think it was) phase, when Anveena sacrifices herself, Kalec would yell "Vanquish the Deceiver". I must tell you - I have NEVER felt more alert and full of energy when I heard that quote. When the boss finally died and we celebrated, just before we were about to do the loot, the Epilogue started. Nobody knew what it was about, so we each listened very carefully and watched in awe as the Sunwell reignited. Velen's quote "Gaze now mortals upon the heart of M'uru...unblemished...bathed by the Light of Creation...just as it was at the Dawn" remains my favorite line in World of Warcraft. I shed a tear when the Sunwell shone once again. A truly epic moment and an indescribable feeling.
My favourite memory is when my real life friend asked if alliance can make death knights, that may seem like hes just not playing alot, but actually he plays alot and this was about 6 weeks in wrath of the lich king, and ever since whenever we talk about wow it comes up and we cant help but have a laugh.
My favorite memory of WoW would be the day I bought WoW, around when BC was still out. Me and a group of friends were at a Subway restaurant having some foot longs and one of our friends told us about it. A few of us has heard and played the game but haven't actually owned the game. For hours we talked about it, how fun it was to play all the thing we could of done. When we all split up and was about to go home we all decided to buy and play the game together. From there on we have had a lot of fun days and too many great memories to think of or write down. The reason that is my memory is it was the beginning us as friends becoming a group of brothers and we still consider our selves brothers.
