My favorite memory was from our quest to open the gates of Ahn'Qiraj on US-Medivh. It was a long hard battle fought with Mannoroth - PvE vs PvP; the greatest server rivalry of the era - and as Medivh closed in on victory, it seemed as though the entire server was stuffed into the Military Ward of Ironforge ready for the big moment. It was tense - oh man was it tense. Mannoroth was nipping on our heels, hours, maybe even minutes behind. Level 60s were passing stacks of cloth to level 10s just to help turn them in faster - the anticipation was so thick it was palpable. We finally closed in - Runecloth was finished; Mageweave was finished; Silk and Wool then finished too, nothing left but Linen cloth, and then - Boom! The Military Ward erupted - Mages were leaping around casting Arcane Explosion, Priests- Holy Nova, Warlocks were raining fire on everyone, some folk even brought in fireworks from the Gnomes and lit the place up. Our poor little server shuddered under the onslaught, but it held. I have a few screenshots of that moment - zoom at max, nothing but spell effects and /yell bubbles filling the screen - everyone was so happy we had all come together to beat out not just Mannoroth, but every other server in the world. Pure jubilation, a community of thousands joined forces in revelry. It was without a doubt the most epic moment in the World of Warcraft, and one of my fondest memories of the game.

My favorite moment was when for first time i raid with 39 more people and i took my first loot. It was SO big thing into my eyes cause i was kid:)
Getting my first mount. I didn't have my own account when I first started playing and used my brothers' accounts. I always managed to get to around level 30 before someone would delete my character or decide to change servers. My first level 40 was such a happy moment for me that one of my brothers even paid for the mount.
The one Christmas I was watching my cousin play WoW. I had no idea what it was, but it looked cool. I was spending the night before Christmas, and really loved the free trial. I was sad because I really wished I knew about it to put on my Christmas list. The next day, my aunt's superpowers activated, and I was elated to find WoW under that tree! I played all day on my tauren, and got him to level 11. I will never forget that Christmas I got my favorite game.
I think that my favorite moment in WoW was when, with the help of guildmates, my Blood Elf Paladin got her epic warhorse mount. This was back in the day when you had to quest and farm for it.
It's pretty rough trying to narrow it down to a single favorite moment but, if i had to, i'd have to say the most memorable moment besides the obvious downing a boss or getting certain loot item, was the first time i entered into Nagrand. It was so much different from the other zones i had encountered (i started in BC). The spaciousness of the zone and the feeling that "WOW!" The feel of the zone was so much fun; meeting Durn for the first time, seeing so much new stuff. Probably sounds cheesy, but that zone, i'll always remember.
My favorite memory from WoW is being continually ganked by a mage when I was in AB by a certain mage. I eventually fought the mage with some allies backing me up at the LM. The mage put on Slowfall and jumped off of the cliff, and I managed to dispell his slowfall. He fell to his death and then left me alone. /Grin
My favorite memory was when i dinged 80, got some good gear and was on top of the DPS meter! Everyone was like, "GJ hunter!"
My favorite moment in WoW was when my old pally tank hit the Wrath hit cap so I could start tanking raids. I spent so much time levelling and gearing and practicing, and the moment I realized I would be able to OT Naxx I got super excited and messaged my GM right away to ask if I could go the next night. Never felt that way getting raid-ready on any other toon :-D
My favorite memory was when I was lvl 24 ,around the time BC came out, and my entire guild threw a party for my birthday. We ended up storming the Stormwind Stockades, and making a (failed) raid on Crossroads.
My favorite moment in wow must have been back before I changed server, back when I played on an RP realm. Alliance gathered in Wetlands, and Horde gathered in Arathi Highlands, the battle would take place on the great bridge. It was arranged so the fight would not start until the hour was full, and in anticipation of the big battle, we had our RP officers giving a lovely motivational speach. It turned into an epic battle, of 3 full 40man raids on alliance vs 2-3 40man raids on horde, that lasted more than 1 hour.Ofc there were not announced any winners or losers that day, because of the frequent disconnects everyone had, but the sheer commitment and team spirit everyone showed still baffles me. I believe I was only lvl40-50 at the time, and I were in the presence of the great lvl60 raiders of our realm. It was idd a glorious day.You can say what you want about RP, but it sure has its bright sides.
My favorite memory would have to be when I got my first flying mount. I spent at lest two hours just flying around and showing off. It has made qusting and leveling so much easyer and still to this day when one of my new characters gets the operatunity to fly I still get overwhelmed with happiness with a since of accomplishment! =D
My Guild and I all working hard together for that first Lich King Kill prior to all the nerfs. Everyone started cheering when he fell then suddenly everyone went silence when the cut seen started to break out into cheers and congratultions straight after it had stopped again was a great time. And to be able to share it with everyone was fantastic.
