My favorite memory was when some guildies and me went to raid the horde and mess around in Valley of Trials (?). The funny thing is, we were all low-level. I was around 10 and the highest we had was a about a 32. We were all night-elfs so we were running around Ashenvale, dying and multiple other things. The leader of our group had discovered a hidden path into the intro place and that memory has been with me ever since. It's the beginning things that stick with you and mold your character into who it is today.

My favorite memory is from when I started playing WoW, which was during BC. The friend of mine that got me started was on his lowbie warrior and I was on my shaman, and we were questing in Duskwood. We ended up going the wrong way and getting into the wrong pack of worgen mobs which were higher level than we were. The two of us went on a killing spree for survival, doing our best to fend off the worgen, which had a ridiculously fast re-spawn timer and I remember my mind was racing and my fingers were moving so fast o get all the buttons to keep both of us alive and try to get out of there without dying. We both did die, but that was my first real taste at a thrilling challenge in the game, and at such a low level it kept me hooked for more. Now I raid in progression guild and I love it!
My favorite memory in WoW is finally getting to summon Ragnaros, and seeing him emerge. Holy moly, that's a big fire lord! :O
My favorite memory is exploring Dun Morogh for the first time. The moonlight on the snow, the sound of the snow crunching underfoot - I had never played a game that evoked a place so well. I still love Dun Morogh!
The thing I can't wait for in 4.2 is the new dailies. 1) it gives me something new to do since 4.1 is kinda getting boring and 2) chance to get some new gear.my favorite memory from WoW is all those world pvp we used to have in the olden days. I miss the Southshore battles, the cities raids. one SS one I miss is where the Alliance and Horde line up facing each other and just launch spells at each other like old Roman battles. I miss that, that is my favorite memory from WoW and I wish it would come back someday :(
My favorite memory of wow was my first raid. Stratholme. Getting owned by Crimson Battle Mages was awesome.
My Favorite moment in wow was hitting the level cap for first time During Burning crusade. Feel relieved to finally have made it, But also the feeling of all the possibility of things I could do. Everything from raiding to going back and giving those mobs that gave me trouble when I was a baby warrior their just desserts. Ahh the fond memories.
My favorite memory is when I was just about level 10 night elf warrior my first character. I went on the boat from nelf areas to Wetlands.. there I looked at my map and saw huge fortress icon, Ironforge. "There is where I want to go!" I thought. So I started to travel the road, died quite few times on saw crossroad and turned north.. towards Arathi highlands. On the way I died maybe once, saw dwarfs on siege before the arathi bridge and wanted to help them battle the evil dwarfs. Dying couple times before giving up and going to arathi. There I saw level ? raptor getting instantly aggro on me and I run for my life. Then I travelled towards loch modan thro tunnels, orc ambushers and beautiful majestic mountains and statues. And the dam. So after exploring most of loch modan I travelled to Dun morogh. After travelling to crossroad where other road took to IF and other to the village near it I saw 2 gnomes. "Hey" I said, "Where is the ironforge?" I asked then. Gnome said "just up that hill". I ran that long hill upwards it and oh boy was it sight. Majestically built city under mountain! The music started playing. I looked all over the IF and saw wonders and amazing places..huge anvil and forge, lava. Huge gears on tinkertown, mystical place with lake. Warrior trainer! After the exploring, I made my hearthstone bound to IF and never changing it again. It was my base of operations. I took "metro" to SW if needed. It was my HS location or simply favorite place to idle in thro level 10 all the way to 80.
What is your favorite memory from World of Warcraft and why?Hard to pick just one memory to be my favorite (I have so many great ones!) but having to pick just one, I would say is the first time the guild I was in at the time asked me to come OT in Kara because the regular OT couldn't log on. I had never been in Kara so was extremely nervous. Everyone in the raid and heck even the guild was whispering me telling me I'd do fine and just breath deep and relax. The MT was a RL friend of mine and he whispered me that he had recommended me and he knew I could do it, just pay attention and do what he said to do. It was spectacular! I OT'd when they needed me and we survived (sure a few died, but we got the boss down!). That was a tremendous feeling to know that I had helped my guildies out - and myself by finally getting in to see Kara (and heck, to even raid as I hadn't been in a raid at that point). Needless to say, after that I was included in the core raid group and had an absolute blast! So yeah, that would be my favorite memory....
my best memories of WoW come from guild groupings being done more than randoms when i was on Khaz Modan. everyone being active in guild chat, and teamspeak or vent (can't recall which) it was like they're my online family. everyone helping everyone, in game and out of where possible. of that, alot pulled together to help me thru the most difficult years i'd faced out of WoW. whoever has said that there's no socializing while playing WoW has never played it, or found the good guilds &/or players in game.
My favorite moment was just a few days ago. And that is although i am playing since 2005. Just last week i was busy in a nice round of Blackrock Depths (yea, im leveling a new toon, i dont mean the Cataclysm dungeon) when i got a call from my brother, who told me i will be an uncle in just a few month. Not really something about WoW, but i was busy playing at that time and it simply made my day, and still is and will hopefully be for a long time. And should i win the Rocket i might be able to show it to him one day and tell him (or maybe her?) that i got it because he/she was on the way.
My favorite memory is from when I and my friend were running around, trying to explore the whole world. And when we were at the dam in Loch Modan I ran up to the edge and told him to run to me and look how awesome it was. Just as I told him to do so he came running towards me but he didn't stop and just ran over the edge by mistake, and ofcourse died of the fall. So I needed to jump down after him, I play a paladin so I just used my bubble shield, and ress him. And these kind of things just kept on happening time after time, again and again. When I think about that I can remember how fun it was playing Wow in vanilla.
My favorite memory would be as two years ago I joined WoW during the 2009 Midsummer Festival. I created a human Priest, and leveled my character up to 19, and decided to just do some exploring, before flying mounts were around, or Cataclysm had happened. I started at the north end of Darkshore, and walked all the way around to Azshara. I went around, kept seeing how high I could climb in different places, traveled through Azshara, and down to Ratchet, the first friendly place I could find. It was during this I realized, "Wow, this game is huge..." It was that realization of the depth of the game that has stuck with me until now.
My first Ragnaros kill in almost full tier 1 (i know it sucks, its a set, i liked it). it was so epic. Few words could describe how awesome it was. Also the first Patchwerk (at lvl 60) kill.
What is your favorite memory from World of Warcraft and why?My Favorite memory would be the fun i had playing with a friend of mine, while being active horde raiders on a PVP server. then one day we decided to make two Night Elf Druids, on an alliance PVE server, made them look exactly the same exept for the Tattoos in the facesAnd with just had so much fun with the emote's and the time spending together playing the game. Our friendship grew even bigger after those hilarious moments we had with being away from End-game, Hardcoreness, and having to preform at your best all the time. just pure ALT FUN!
my favorite memory from my adventures in world of wacraft would have to be my first raid experience EVER, blackwing lair. I wanted to be one of those players you admire, walking around the city in their glorious, sparkling armor and tremendous stats...so I got all the crafted and pre-raid gear I could muster and was eventually accepted into a group for BWL. Ever since then, raiding has been my past-time, and my girlfriend and I have run a raiding guild on Hyjal ever since, downing everything from rag to sinestra, hardmodes and heroics, and my dream of being one of the greats has been realized.
